Frankly if Spurs still have to pay his wages, I would keep him at WHL and let him rot. Lazy bastaaard deserves nothing from the club.

I wont believe it until its on the Spurs website. Uncle Fester goes on talkSHITE because he is contractually bound to do so but he would not know what is going on with Barn Door, why should he. He delivered a well rehearsed sound bite or two but nothing you would put money on. I can believe DL would agree to pay part of his salary but I would also imagine an agreement to claw that back should Villa take him on full time at the end of the loan .

In an ideal world we'd pay him off completely and officially be rid of him. This will have to do. Him leaving will displace his celebration vs Arsenal in 2009 as the best thing he's ever done for Spurs.

I've confidence in this signing. Ade will prove to be the player that Benteke just hoped to be. Sherwood will set up the team so that Ade gets plenty of chances. And he'll take them. But Sherwood won't have to set up the team to spoon-feed Ade; he doesn't need it. The team will have plenty of other chances. This will make our season. Trust me on this one

Why would Chicken not be happy? My gripe has always been that he was a Spurs player, on the wage bill, available to play, we know he can score goals, but Poch never played him when we needed to win football matches.

Ade needs to go because he clearly does not feature in Poch’s plans, and I think the relationship between him and the majority of fans is at an all time low and beyond repair (Don knows him personally and he says he’s a bad egg - so it must be true ).

He’ll still be a decent signing for another Prem side though.
