I would say they would do an update at the end of the window rather than 100s of updates during it.

They were able to add all the new signings, so why not remove those that have left?
E to agree I've always thought the site was awful. The uk is so user unfriendly and it doesn't have enough useful information on it to make you want to return
Brendan sacked the tech guys with the coaches.
It's pretty bad when most people would rather go to many of the fansites rather than the official site.
Honestly, would it really kill the club to hire a web design intern just to sit and keep the site up to date. Minimum wage, but you'd get no shortage of applicants, I'm sure.

Sixty years is a long window.
It wasn't logic either, it was what I think they are doing and the evidence thus far seems to point to that.

I rarely visit Chelsea's website. Twitter gives me all the info I need quicker than anything else. The official website is just too cramped and crowded. Just like the BBC Sport site. I used to visit that site everyday until they redesigned it and ruined it with too many features,analysis and other bits and bobs of info you dont really want to see crowding your screen.

It's really not a big deal you know
LFC are spending money on new sites. The company I work for has been asked to quote for an Arabic site. I guess they are looking to expand the new sites then retro fit them. The designs were in English so I am presuming they are building a new LFC UK site also.
Agreed I don't know what's going on half the time with the bbc website.
The apps are ok.
Has the Liverpool site got a mobile site yet

I've just seen yours. Wow that is painful reading. Not even optimised for mobile. I don't understand why Web designers don't seem to get that less is more. Why clutter the site up so much that you don't know where to look when you click on the homepage. They've got about 15 or so different little sections all on your one homepage. Terrible but I guess the guys doing must be paid top dollars so surely they're seeing something in this that we're not.
I swear our website used to win awards about ten years ago. Problem is that I don't think much has changed since then.

You've basically explained the club in general
A little harsh there Leiva. FSG are moving the club forwards off the pitch (stadium expansion, sponsorship deals etc.) but we haven't been anywhere as good on the pitch since 08/09, except the title challenge season.
OP if you know all the squad changes, why were you looking them up?
great logic...by the same token, i knew the squad changes and wondered why the official site didnt....or couldnt be ar5ed to let the world know!
Its not as if a football club relies on worldwide fans to keep it going, is it?
