However the chap seems a bit of a diddy dont you think.
And you shouldnt be reading the Sun if its Pulitzer journalism your after.
Not hard hitting gritty journalism. Just normal run of the mill stuff. The guy will probably be sacked. His job is to auction cars, not alienate half the potential buyers. No employer in their right mind would want to employ such a half-wit who drives away some customers because of his childish actions.
Aye, some of the nonsense that makes newspapers here is a complete joke.
There are obviously still oxygen thieves who get a kick out of this sort of patter walking the streets though...
Even as a Gers fan, I can see that this is "banter" and there are very few people who would get genuinely upset or angry or "absolutely disgusted" at someone's mince attempt at a windup of a rival team.
It's the same eejits who are writing to the UEFA and reporting songs to the police.
Some people really need to get a grip of their lives, but newspapers thinking this sort of thing is newsworthy to try and stoke something up, is hardly helping...

He probably has a picture of a Celtic player for the other half to bash.

Why are we still surprised by this type of story.
Its in the daily version of OK magazine
those who buy it know what they are getting when they hand over there 30p
The we have a few who read it and then point out the flaws.
Well I and most others worked the flaws out years ago and therefore dont read it and cant post articles about it slagging it after going to the bother of reading it in the first place....
I mean what were you expecting?.
I think its quite funny really only complete nutters could take offence at this its only a wee laugh and god knows scottish football needs a laugh!!What i find more alarming are things that i have actually witnessed at matches at Celtic Park like the wee 10 year old who sat behind me baying for someone to break Fergies legs and calling him all sorts of racist and bigoted names thats the sort of culture we need to be addressing not somebody having a laugh at work

I thought it was mildly funny, i did however at the end ask myself "how on earth did that make it into a paper"
Good point Zach.
It is typical of how us, as fans are portrayed in the media.
Zach i agree, if the shoe was on the other foot they would be outraged, however, we cannot give them pelters when they get all offended and bothered about silly stuff if we do it aswell.
Zach you have a point and in all honesty the fact that you have a point sums up everything that is wrong with scottish football and the small minded people who poison it

Had I done the same to a photo of Neil Lennon I would be charged with religiously motivated assault, genocide and crimes against humanity.
The fact that someone actually did that at an auction and some think it is amusing worries me. Is this the calibre of the average celtic (or Old Firm) fan? To find something like this amusing?
Is it really a surprise that other Scottish and English football fans have such a poor opinion of Old Firm fans?
i'm up for old firm fans ripping the pash out of each other but it should be atleast funny!!!
thats just aint funny and hes potentially alienated half the people who would be interested in his business!!
What a plonka!!!

Establishment, lighten up mate, im a gers fan im not offended at it.
The fact that we are even discussing this daft wee joke is the real indictment on Scottish football, people pretending to be offended to make the other look bad. Its like two bald men fighting over a comb, were busy calling each other for this and that when in reality everyone on the outside thinks we are numptys.
The guy will be punished, not your worry, if it was of Neil Lennon i would have laughed, just like i laughed when the guy and my work told me about the urinal in aberdeen with Rangers playing on them.
CHadams
I'm not offended. I am embarrassed to be associated with people like that really.
Being offended has nothing to do with it. Its the reaction people (from outside Glasgow) give you when you say you support one of the Old Firm.
That is true Zachsda, sorry if i missed the point there.
They think we are all religious nutters with chips on our shoulders when we read that but it really is petty stuff.
Not to be taken seriously IMO, real Sectarianism/Bigotry is what needs tackled, not some action by some guy in an auction house with a picture ofa player as that could happen anywhere with any teams involved.
First it's being blootered with a mallet... next it's be bullets in the post.
