Brownings looked very assured all game

Nice one for the link..we may need browning and Galloway to step up this season!

posted on 28/7/15

Browning has shown he has the temperament for the big game, remember his cameo at Anfield?

Galloway was introduced at LB but will surely make the move to Central or left of a back three.

Now is the time
For these guys to stake a claim and put down a marker for Watford

Watched the game. Dundee dominant for 90 minutes but lost 2 jammy goals on the counter to an inferior opponent. Lukaku was taken off on the half hour mark after being bullied off the ball too often by the physically and technically stronger Dundee defence. Will he ever be seen in an Everton shirt again after that? Barkley took a dive in the box in typical English style to win his side a penalty. All in all Everton failed to deal with the physical nature of Scottish football and will tip toe back to the tippy tappy EPL with their tails between their legs after taking one hell of a moral spanking.

Can you give me a clue on the scoreline,it sounds like we were well beaten by a top table team 1 week ahead of us in pre season games.

I can take solace in the fact that we probably played most of our second string for half the game,so a drubbing by a top Scottish side who will be playing competitive football in 4 days time is acceptable

He's pulling your leg,Everton were by far the better side even with a team full of kids.

Just got back from the pub, genuinely didn;t know the score,we won 2-0 and played a number of the under 21's never mind second string.Hoping we start the season with players fit enough to play 90 mins premier league footy unlike last season

What the fück is going on at our club, surely we're going to sign more than just Cleverley and Deulofeu.

posted on 28/7/15

Of course we will, if. Celtic fail to get champions league then we will probably be in for VVD and I reckon we'll go for Lennon on deadline day (he will be free next summer so spurs will want something/anything for him, he's been training with the kids so poch doesn't want him)

It's not just about who we sign,it's more important about who we don't sell

I agree, but we still only finished 11th with them players. Lukaku has just pulled up with a
hammy, can you imagine going into the new season with koné as our main striker?

Will only get worse now as Bill looks to cash in on McCarthy

I was at the game.

Despite Everton's defence trying their best to gift the opposition a goal. Dundee were better at it.

Stones looked the best player on the park, with McCarthy being a close second.

McAlney & Barkley were good in spells, and then missing/poor in others. Dowell looked exciting but never did much.

Pre season means nothing IMO, i'm interested in Watford at home

Edin, Dundee were by far the better team despite being without their best player Paul Mcgowan who was missing through no fault of his own, due to not being allowed out of the house after 7pm cos he has a tag from assaulting loads of police officers. Everton would struggle to avoid relegation in the much more physical and fast paced SPL.

Good job we are not in a league one style league then

Lol,it was boys against men,our boys taught Dundee's men how to play the beautiful game.

Dundee trying to out muscle the young Everton lads and were undone by greater technical ability. Good job your lads are quicker round the pitch, you spent 90 minutes chasing the ball

Seems like it's the only way we ever have money to spend is by selling players. I heard that there was a bumper new deal for the premier league, which meant clubs had a lot more money.

The really huge deal comes in 2016/17,but we still should have enough funds to buy players without selling now, only thing is a £5million player 5 years ago is now a £15-£20million player

posted on 29/7/15

Well we should be able to add the Lukaku, McCarthy and Stones money to the megre budget we have Phil and look towards the lower leagues

That's the next deal to kick in, but the present deal with sky is huge compared to the previous deal. Either way we continue to have have no money to spend on transfers
