1 of 2 strikers set to come in to joint Berahino.
Ideye or Vic up for sale
JH, would you go for Charlie Austin for £15 million?
26 years old, proven goalscorer in the Prem.
Oh, and I think I'd sell Big Vic. Sorry, Vic!
In a heartbeat Aries. Sadly I think he will end up elsewhere and we'll get another striker not currently being linked or mentioned in the media.
Bill Howel (Chris Leps replacement) said we've got some big 'aces' up our sleeve that are not yet out there!
I'd also get rid of Vic. Ideye looks sharp in training and I think he will come good!
Berahino, ideye, Lamber, new striker + Nabi = good options!
I really rate big Vice and he has put in some marvelous performances for us, just a shame about the injuries otherwise we wouldn't need another striker!
Hopefully a full back or two are on the way!
West Bromwich Albion will today sign Rickie Lambert from Liverpool on what is expected to be a two year deal.
The terms of the move are heavily structured with Albion only shelling out £3 million if a number of appearance and goal clauses are met.
The initial sum is much lower than £3 million.
@billhowell68: As for Lescott and Villa. Tît-for-tat after Albion have two bids rejected for #avfc Ciaran Clark. #wba looking to sign 1 more cb not lose 1

Brunt does a job. Lescott is wasted there.
Yup lb is desperately wanted, Brunts passing and crossing is wasted there too.
A berahino replacement is needed for next season yes, get him.in now so he can settle before Saido's big money move next summer.
I wonder what Charlie Austin's wage demands are. I understand JP having a business model which has worked well so far, but if he was prepared to pay up to £10 million for Brown Ideye, he must surely think Austin is good for £15m with his scoring record and age. Especially if we end up losing Berahino. Change the model, Jeremy.
As for LB, James McLean played there v Walsall didn't he? So he's another option there.
Player I've admired ever since our FA Cup tie with Bristol Rovers. He'll do
Kanga, who are referring to?
I can't say I'm thrilled with buying a 33 year old forward. He'll be good for two seasons but little more than that, I would think. I don't really know what to make of it.
Spurs fans think they're getting Berahino
