I wandered onto another forum and they were arguing the toss, each of them claims the other didn't turn up and they were stood there cooling their muscles (!)

erm, come to think of it, so have I...

There was VC, a hamster, Matth, a video and a young spanish boy named Pedrito.

After that I don't know how the argument happened.

Manchester United have despatched representatives to Barcelona to finalise the signing of Spain forward Pedro, reports AS.

The Old Trafford side are gearing up to sell Angel Di Maria to PSG and they will replace him with Pedro, whose first-team role at Barca diminished last season after the arrival of Luis Suarez from Liverpool.

The winger’s mother revealed at the weekend that the 28-year-old is bound for England, and United are keen to get the deal tied up as soon as possible, although Barca want at least €30m for him.

Hopefully if he does come before the super cup he plays against Spurs. He's had a full pre season so should be sharp.

Although it does happen occasionally, Robb, it is very rare any new signing starts for his new club that quickly.

I don't really see our opening day line up being much different to how LVG started the pre season games.

I hope you are very wrong too VC (!)

But LVG has his players coming back from injuries not going straight into the team rule, so I would guess that even if Pedro joined today he wouldn't be selected until the following weekend at the earliest.
