The usual mix of sense and nonsense as befits someone who dribbles and looks permanently baffled for a living.
Hang about - that qualifies me to be a referee.
"An opportunity lost" as in getting beaten by a better side....
Phoney Eddie:
So?
If you want accuracy, why bother reading the OOE report?
Jeez, what is this, some kind of Care in the Community project ?
If it is, I can recommend another client who seems just as strange as you but not as amusing or pleasant......
Sorry Eddie - you've lost me, but don't worry about that. Baffled is my middle name.
you want me back on board Eddie, lots of whackos coming on here.
Dear Baffled: The penny clearly takes a little longer to drop "oop" North
My most favourite line this week:
"...with the increasingly inept Haines optimistically waving ‘play on’ before he realised that there was no-one left standing to actually do so....."
My least favourite line:
The one the ball 'apparently' didn't cross.

Well, I enjoyed reading it especially the Butterfly effect (Nottingham accent) on Steve Davies. I like the digressions, a bit like Tristram Shandy.

All are welcome here, View. Oh, how I wish that we could get promoted so that OOE could examine the relative virtues (or otherwise) of the 'big boys'.
Household names should be treated with household bleach.
That would be excellent eddie
By the way did you notice that I changed one of the words in the quote I pasted from your article?
Seems that you used a 'banned' word in your match report
Wonderful stuff, boys. Mad as a bag of badgers but what the hell......
Indeed I did. JA606 - stifling freedom of speech. Reminds me of the Beeb. Oh, the irony, and here's OOE trying to safeguard the upkeep of their motto:
"Nation shall speak tripe unto nation"
evensteadiereddie:
What JA606 really ought to do is take the approach that fark.com do - censor nothing but apply a filter so that naughty words are 'changed' somewhat - with hilarious consequences when the poster follows up with "I didn't type xyz - why when I typed xyz did it appear as xyz" etc.
Hours of fun taking the smeg out of the unfortunates who get filter-pwn3d.
How long have you been coming up with stuff like this,one-eye ?
It makes a refreshing change from the miserable, petty little gits that used to infest 606 and, more recently, this board.
Sorry Eddie, Just got back off my holiday, seems you are fighting off the hoardes on your own. Seems like a good bit of banter to be fair.
Hows things? Good result away from home seems like Austin is coming good this season after last seasons injury.
Alright View
I love the re-working of swear-words in the movie 'Johnny Dangerously' - giving us the freedom to call Forest fans 'farging bastidges'!

good read Eddie. Although I would pull you up on the "recently relegated" bit, they were relegated LAST year.
Cheers Mostyn - and this is where I play my 'Get out of Jail Free' card - the editor of Ramzone always writes the tagline. I can walk away from that one whistling (the faux-pas about Hendrick having the effort cleared 'off the line' when it was actually Lee Croft flicking the corner on is all mine though).
Saying that though, I was lazy not correcting it when I did the copypasta to create the JA606 article though, so it's probably still my bad.
Thanks mate, being saving reading that all day, great that we have fans like ya,must be great to have a pint with ya,bless ya ed.
Cheers, Igor. It's probably a trial of anyone's patience having a pint with me, what with me being as deaf as a post. My favourite phrase at the moment is "Eh?"
If people just point and grunt then we get along fine. The odd pint helps too. I'm currently supping a very nice Belgian homebrew at 8.5%
Jeez Eddie, the mods have got it in for you mate! The BBC mods used to let us get away with things far worse than anything I have seen on here.
