Greg its certainly not terrible, and mechanically is an excellent MMOFPS, the best on the market I would say. It is let down though by some overally grindy missions and rather randonish story that looks like it was cobbled together in a few weeks. But yeh there are millions of people still playing, if I had a few more hours in a day I would prob get this as im missing my mmo fix nowadays and i enjoyed the demo, shame they killed the ghost of tyrion

I hated the way they expected you to grind missions that were identical to one another all the way to level 30 without any kind of story to it whatsoever.

Then the online mode, as a newcomer you would get smashed by all the regulators with good gear.
Poorly done in my opinion.

Did they change something in the online mode then? As when i played everyone goes into the arenas the same......or are you talking about a different part?

Destiny was ok, no more no less

a bit over priced and over hyped for what it is, but saying that its the first MMO on a console.

Can u buy the taken king without the previous dlc as I've already got them or do they all come as one package?

After much shouting i believe there will be just the Taken King DLC available and you will no longer need to purchase everything again.

You either love it or hate it and I am a huge fan as in crucible it has an auto balance so that you can jump in at level 3 and knock off some level 34 without too much bother.

The raids are unique because of the complex nature of completing each section with a party of 6 all essential unless you cheese it

I pre ordered it last night it looks good tbh.

I enjoyed the demo, so might wait a little while and pick up a pack with everything in when it has a % knocked off with ps+

Nah mate - never had time, though followed friends that do, played the demos, and the beta, also generally kept up with the game just never around got round to playing it. I need something to scratch my mmo itch and this seems almost like the solution.

If u buy it now with the new dlc u are getting the better deal than us

I've only got the standalone game without any of the DLC's and have just started to get into it.

I might buy myself a copy of the taken king and save some cash (And HDD space if some of it comes on the physical disc- some of these descriptions are a bit murky on the details).

Buy the legendary edition.

could be worse... my mates kid is bugging him to get the edition that comes with the replica coin and steelbook for an extra £30.00
