Darmian had the best game.
Clyne - he kept a clean sheet, Johnson didn't.

Stay on topic ya manc muppet
Johnson blew his chance to put his side 1-0 up when he blazed his shot over the bar. Clyne was solid.
Darmian was better though.
Johnson looked like a man on a mission, he had his best game for some time. Both Clyne and young Gomez played very well indeed. Both Flanno and Morino will struggle to replace them.

Which full back had the better game out of Clyne and Johnson? Also how did Gomez do in his first premier league game?
Where the fućk did a manc full back come into this article?

Easily Clyne but Gomez played rather well too apart from one dodgy moment. Thought his booking was harsh. Would like to see Clyne or Ibe even putting more balls into the box but hopefully that will happen as the season progresses.
Glen should have scored really
i thought our attack suffered from the fullbacks not getting forward enough
Not against Stoke TKT, the biggest fear was getting beat. Both Clyne and Gomez played their part well.

Gomez did well up against Jon Walters. It's easy to see he's a long way short of the finished article though.
Positioning on the aerial ball a little off, and sometimes a bit rash in the tackle.
Clyne was solid defensively, looked a little timid going forward, possibly because it's his debut etc. I think it's something he'll grow into.
Thought both our full backs had a good game defensively. Clyne had our right side covered with help from Ibe as he was up against Affelay first then Odemwinge both who could be tricky coustermers. Gomez had the physical and experienced Walters to deal with on his premier league debut and had it hard but yet walked away with a clean sheet and an assist to his name. I thought Jhonno had a very good game and kept as quite on that side as well as made headway on their right flank.
Johnson was in desperate need of a change. I expect him to have a decent season at a club with less expectations.
