I want new owners as much as anyone, but who comes in to buy the club?
You'd need around £150m to buy us
Around £30m to wipe out the debt
Another £100m+ to build a stadium
And be expected to pump in £20-30m each season for transfers

BK isn't great we all know that but an alternative could be much worse, look at Randy Lerner or that corrupt one who bought out Birmingham.

Also on twitter SOS and the BU are a bunch of idiots, they certainly don't speak for me and using a plane brings us down to the level of kopites and mancs.

No Thanks!

I echo Head's comments above, be careful what you wish for and they certainly don't speak for everyone

If they want investment, then buy some shares and give their money.

Per share they will see the same return as the board members

The problem with that Aurona is the agency cost which can be extortionate. Most of board members are also involved in the management of the club and more than likely paying hefty salaries to themselves!

I think that's why this group of Everton fans think your board are lining their pockets, I wouldn,t trust them either board with them being the root of the problem i.e lack of investments in Everton FC.

You as a stakeholder of the club have the right to question the board and the management, Imagine if you bought shares and you're being ignored because you are in the minority

The article quotes say the board have failed to maximise revenue streams. They could have a point.

Another £100m+ to build a stadium

------
What a 15,000 seater?

Try £250m for a brand new stadium as a starting point.

As much as we take the Michael, Liverpool need a strong Everton and Everton need a strong Liverpool.

The city rivalry propels both clubs to do better and fight harder. Benefitting both in the long run.

I support whatever measures the Everton fan base (legally) employ to get Everton to a higher level.

Can't say I know too much about construction costs but I'll take your word for it

Ground share would be ideal for us but that won't happen as Liverpool are redeveloping rather than moving

Does Bill take a salary or dividend?

if as a shareholder you demand the board invest, then why should your share return dividend based on their investment or see your share holding raise in value because of their investment.

I am just someone who turns up each week, it would be like some theatre buff demanding investment for his favourite opera company.

True an alternative could very well be worse, but on the flip side it could be better. Instead of the examples of villa & Blackburn look at city & chelsea

This article says the board haven't invested any of their own money in the club and that any acquisitions were funded by the sale of club assets.

If that is true then your club is in a very bad state with virtually no commercial income, no investment from the board and no real assets left. I'd be very worried if my club were being run this way.

Solutions, solutions, solutions......

Enough of the so called problem......what's the solution?

Leeds, Birmingham, Blackpool, Blackburn, Portsmouth.

Southampton had to go into administration to be saved.....

Yet City and Chelsea are what we should strive for

So there is no problem? Are you happy with selling off the train ground? Are you happy with mortgaging Goodison? Are you happy with the seduco & kit bag deals? Are you happy with the board never investing a penny in the club? Are you happy not winning anything in over 20 years?
Now of course I don't expect an aswer but I do expect what you think is a witty response & for you to flip it on me to answer a question, it's what you do.

What is the solution them Mr R?

You have self made men unable to turn a profit from the club.....men wise enough not to throw good, hard earned money after bad.

Would I like to win more, hell yes. Will not winning make me less passionate and less likely to go ??

Hell no.

So what is the solution? You keep tellin me the 'problems' but not any solutions.

I fully expect you to answer this, anything else is an admission that you are just a sheep following the few protesters who demand success at any cost

If I knew the solution I would be in another profession, I see you answer one question about being successful. Yet again failing to answer any others. It even appears to me that you don't think there is any sort of problem.

posted on 15/8/15

So you don't know the solution?

That was clear from the start to be honest, you seem to be following the cool kids and believe that they have the answer.....

When all they have is 'look at City and Chelsea'

Not sure what other questions I didn't answer, but what's more shocking is that you have no solution to the 'problem'

Of course you don't know what other questions. To acknowledge them would be to admit you haven't answered them. Also not knowing a solution doesn't mean there isn't a problem.

So in summary, you are admitting that if you knew the solution then you would be in another profession Mr R.

As you don't know the solution, how are you qualified to be critical of the current situation, I agree with you on that you don't know the solution

At least I will give an honest answer to a question. Unlike yourself. Your so boringly predictable.
