Bar the 1 shot from Ox on Target he just kept losing the ball though...
Walcott was useless, no idea why Giroud was taken off.
Walcott is a waste. Still chuckle to think of how he holds us to ransom for every contract, when he's an utterly dispensable con man. £140,000 a week.
Walcott - don't want him, but don't want anyone else to have him either.
Walcott is a very good player that's not being used right. Everyone knows on wings you need pace. Either play Ox or Walcott on the right.
Yeah I've been saying a similar thing. We are just to easy to defend against. It's mainly because we play so narrow, and don't move the ball at all fast enough. Our wingers are never wingers and just cut inside all the time. It's just so obvious to a defending team what they'll do. Also baring Giroud and at time Sanchez no one will even get in the box, especially when the ball does go wide. All the players just queue outside the box, all wanting to be a number 10. Our movement off the ball has to improve.
We don't move the ball to ozil quick enough. He's great when he recives the ball quick in the pocket, then he does another quick pass to someone running off the ball. Now we wait ages to give him the ball, Then when gets it he is crowed out, and there is hardly any forward movent off the ball for him. It's all sideways. Remember when we could be in the opposition box after about 3 passed?
We need to play ox and Sanchez wide to bring back some unpredictability. Playing Ramsey wide is just so easy for other teams. Ramsey has actually played well, but he just basically plays central when we play him wide. So there's no point in playing him. We end up way to narrow, and the opposition can just funnel in and block us out.
Against Newcastle Wenger has to play ox wide right, and make a decision who to drop out of ozil, Ramsey and cazorla. Otherwise it will be the exact same story

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Given how limited his game is , Walcott's salary is abhorrent!
It was an absolutely appalling performance from Wenger yesterday.
The team which he selects is totally unbalanced. He leaves our best (in-form) player on the bench until the last ten minutes . What does OX have to do to start a game ? He is the only player who is direct and drives into the box. We had no breadth on the right . Everything went down the left or through the congested middle. He persists with players who are under- performing. Ozil gave us nothing last night .
He never changes things when everyone can see that a change is necessary. Chambers should have been put out of his misery at half time and replaced with Debuchy .
For the next home game I would drop Ozil and Ramsey and play Theo and Ox on the wings with Sanchez and Giroud up front .Or play Ramsey instead of Sanchez.
Before I get wummed ...just look at the stats at home. One win in last 7 games and 5 of last 6 games goalless. That is relegation form .
What sort of Captain cries off with a "tummy ache" before a big game knowing that we have to rely on Callum Catastrophe Chambers? How did Southampton con us out of £16m for this Sunday league player? Did Per's mum write him a note ? Can you imagine Adams, Bould , Nutty, Keown etc crying off before a big game because they are feeling a bit under the weather ? Most of them played and played well with raging hangovers ffs.
Wenger needs to get help from someone else. He stays put on his bench for most of the game and just seems to freeze like a rabbit in the headlights when it comes to making vital game changing decisions. He has got too cautious in his old age and the team balance is all wrong especially against the top teams.
Also I like Liverpool's corners, mixing it up. Caused confusion in our zonal defending.
-------------------------
Our corners are bloody awful. If our players had any sense we would have been pumping the ball into the box at every opportunity to test out the makeshift CB partnership and the clear height advantage, instead we played them short and messed the up. Was pretty frustrating.
