He really wasn't good against Arsenal. And against Bmouth he scored a dodgy goal and missed a sitter onto the bar.

Like I said in the OP, I'm not trying to act like he's always been rubbish as I wanted him at United. But he has been terrible this season.

Brendan Rodgers with a flop signing? Well, I never...

Soldado will score more goals for us than Kane or Benteke score for Liverpool or Spurs, I guarantee it.

To be fair, Robb has been a huge fan of Benteke and his comments are fair and balanced. Not really sure what to make of the signings Liverpool have made this season. The only one who looks decentish is the LB, Gomez

Lol can't call him a flop after four games. Otherwise Depay and Schneiderlin may aswell be branded flops too.

Oh Robb are you fishing again?

He was really good against Arsenal, such a powerful player and holds up play really well. Not seen us that open at home for ages and he was one of the main reasons, just couldn't handle him

Gomez is deffo one for the future but he's a mistake waiting to happen at left back. Can't use his left foot and he's playing at left back. Was exposed there against West ham.

He's looked lazy to me. Good In preseason when all the defenders can't be bothered, but when the premiership defenders get their shackles on him, he goes to pieces.

Hazard was, according to Marc Wilmots, the worst player on the pitch.
Has been poor up to this point for Chelsea as well.
Would you write him off as well?

More of a case of will Brendan play in Benteke's strengths.

After all he shipped out Carroll because he didn't suit Brendan's set up,so 3 years later Brendan buys a big unit upfront, but doesn't play with wide men to provide the ammo

Looks like another panic buy to me.

Too early to call him a flop, but he certainly strikes me as a good player at the wrong club.

I too have seem most of Liverpools games this season and apart from some good link up against Bournemouth he's looked way out of sync with the players around him. Strangely his finishing has been poor too, should have bagged a couple against Arsenal, another against Bournemouth too.

Sturridge is a far better fit for Liverpool.

Liverpool have two goals all season- one was dodgy and the other was a long-range strike. Problem for Benteke is probably that they aren't creating enough for him.

No because he's shown his quality at the highest level. Also scored the winner last night.

I don't see how Liverpool are gonna play to Bentekes strengths. Who's gonna be putting the crosses in?

He was atrocious against West ham. I don't see how playing the likes of Coutinho and Firmino really help Benteke.

Chambers was the main reason, he looked like a 16 year old Sunday League player. Out of position, panicking on the ball, skinned constantly and out muscled.

That other young lad looks decent though.

Butland should have saved that shot if we're honest.

Agree, should be a concern as Rodgers can't organise a defence properly.

sometimes i have to wonder what games you're watching Robb.

Benteke had a good game against Arsenal.
held the ball up well, was strong and looked a threat.

Organised the most clean sheet in 2015 bud.
