Ill start off by saying that I think I may have worked my magic on the waiver wire again with Montee Ball.
My thibkig is that theres a number of teams that need a running back, and a few of those could have him their primary back by end of the season.
Browns and Patriots are the two teams I had in mind, but I wouldnt be too surprised if the Texans went for him as backup to foster, and will bring value now, then its up to Fosters fragility to do the rest.
Titans another and then theres the more far fetched of the cowboys lookig for someone to actually be able to carry the dmm workload?
I assume we will still have a redzone thread. This is more of a midweek fantasy thread for the time being
Mick, i wanted your opinion on my other fantasy team i drafted yesterday. I posted it on the accidental trade thing but no response.
Just finished another draft in a 10 team league, picking ninth... what you guys think:
QB
ATL M. Ryan
RB
OAK L. Murray
ARI A. Ellington
HOU A. Foster
TB D. Martin
PHI R. Mathews
WR
PIT A. Brown
DET C. Johnson
CHI A. Jeffery
IND D. Moncrief
TE
CIN T. Eifert
GB R. Rodgers
NO J. Hill
K
IND A. Vinatieri
DEF
ARI Cardinals
What do you think?
Tight ends excludud, i think im solid?
Btw, anyone want rodgers in a trade before he starts tearing the league apart?
The 3 tight ends were my last three picks in the draft and they were because i considered myself covered at rb and wr and so decided to go for a relative known commodity in eifert and then 2 tight ends playing with good qbs who both lost their primary targets from last season and see if either one does well.
I went wr heavy cause i knew id get a very good rb in mid rounds in foster and in third round i was plabning on taking ingram but he was taken the pick before me, so i went again wr in jeffery and came back for an rb in the 4th.
Also, i went late bye week players a lot so that i can use my 3 tight end slots and drop the least productive for a breakout for the bye weeks.
I dropped foles mick.
But if im tradig away rodgers i d do it for eitger an elite player or in a two for 1 with 1 of the two being a qb
I'd take Rogers and another, if you want Brady and another? Really just curious see who you offer/want!
Haha you crazy kid you!!!
I said it was temp til we see what ball does hahaha
Ha your trades are dynamite. I almost accepted it just for some drama! Forrset and we have a deal
Holy moly, just logged into the league and my message board is lit up with Phoenix trades
Phoenix has only sent two trade offers.
One to respond to the crabtree offer and one for brady
Forssett wont play more than 13 games this season so no thanks.
Do we get points if a guy gets a td with a punt return?
Thats a def and st point.
So if aj green gets a punt return td, it goes to the bengals def/st not to the owner of aj green the wide receiver.
gotcha
Just noticed my boy Cobbs is on IR and won't be back til midseason
"Forssett wont play more than 13 games this season so no thanks"
Maybe, but he'll still out point Gio....
But not rodgers per position.
Ill take my chances with my plug and play rbs and let rodgers cover the deficit
....and the dance continues...
Join us tomorrow folks for the next instalment of "Phoenix and the Trade Japes!", where tactical mastermind Phoenix tries to trade his car for the entire Dallas Cowboys franchise. Will Jerry Jones bite? Will Phoenix succeed in his plan to trade jape his way to Sacko glory? Tune in to find out!
one day I will get a trade to go through in our league and you will laugh
I want to be part of it, believe me! I want to be able to tell my grandkids that i was there, that the legend is true, and Phoenix DID offer a trade that worked for the other team too!
Just took Helu and ditched Cobb.
Best one out there for me.
Looking for another RB if anyone fancies anything of mine
