How many do Gomis and Wilson have?

posted on 24/9/15

yes, great prospect, but if he scores more than 10 prem goals, then i'll be truly amazed.

I was taking the scorers from the top five clubs in England, Busby.

The strikers at the smaller sides have started pretty well but the top five, the teams most likely to compete for top four, is more relevant.

Which is why I left out those two you mentioned, Vardy, Pelle and Benteke.

Really

He's 3 already surely another 7 between now and the end of the season isn't that daunting

And there was I not wanting him to score on his debut just in case he couldn't live up to it, just like Macheda.

Silly me.

I'd be more amazed if Rooney got more than ten.

Got bored and thought I would pay a visit to the Newcastle board just to see what the Geordies thought of their numpty of a manager.

The last thread on there by a Newcastle fan was in July.

Big club not.

Anyone remember Ian Darke, in AM's first match I think it was, he said that some fans were already calling him Terry Marshall.

Proper Manc name that.

We should all add it to our name when he becomes the GOAT

i hear ya... I'm not saying he can't do it, and he does excite me, but i'm looking at a 19 yr old. as good as he's shown so far, a 19 yr old scoring 10 prem lg goals or more in their first season in another country, is setting the bar very high, for me.

lets see what happens...

So now.

Yep he is the next Terry Henry so it makes sense.

Hope he's more humble than that up-his-own-erse prancing pony from the Sky ads

Sad to say but he's so young, you know he's got a big injury due, defenders will target him. Hope he gets a barrowful before it comes.

Ian Marshall was the most North-Western man ever.

Hair like a long knitted crown. Was he born Oldham or Scouse?

A dad of 2 at 19

The French Leigh Griffiths.

Hope for your sake he's half as good

Can't knock the start the lad has made.

He could do a Kane this season, stranger things have happened.

Then again, he could do a Macheda.

I don't think it matters that much. Henry may not be humble but he was a hell of a player.

If Martial even turns out to be half the player he was he can be as arrogant as he likes.

Being humble at a young age also isn't a precursor to anything, as Henry exemplifies. He wasn't like this as a young player, by all accounts.

I'll be very surprised if he does a Harry Kane. But I'd be far more surprised if he does a Kiko Macheda, he's already scored one less than Macheda did in his entire United career.
