Not going to interest many neutrals when it will clearly be a walkover for the home side, still will be nice for the international fans and those who can't get tickets.
fancy this, wonder if Fergie will rest the kids & play the "old boys"!
I wonder if fergie will choke on his chewing gum again
memo to Elland Road caterers .... Order more prawns
Elland Road might get a crowd for this one.
They will only come to see United.

Thought they might have kicked off at 10 in the morning so all s c um "fans" can watch it at a decent time in the far east
.................
I did not know Leeds had any fans in the far east.
Do you think they are as stupid as the Yorkshire bred Leeds type of buffoon?

Leeds have fans in the far east? You learn something new...
wishful thinking if you think that Leeds would hold much interest for United fans in the far east... Probably never heard of them.

Just a couple of points if I may -
1. We're not expected to win, accepted, but neither were we last time. Oh and we won then! Thanks for allowing me to bring that up again.
2. As it is on telly would you agree that if we win everyone and his cousin will wet themselves giggling?
3. If we lose by the odd goal we'll be classed as unlucky.
4. Do you agree that iff Fergie plays his full team it will show he respects our little not at all famous anymore club because he knows what can happen when he comes up against Leeds United.
5. If he plays a weakened team, like he did last time, do you not agree we could do what we did in the FA Cup (which by the way was seen by millions worldwide, most of whom still smirk when they recall it)?
and
6. Don't you find it great that a not famous at all little club like ours, not a huge famous one like yours, can beat you in cup competitions and so many people can see it?
Eh?
so basiically United (Man United) cant win, even if we do win 10 nil which if you think about it after beating Arsenal 8-2 could be on the cards.
But after you lot beat us last time on that freezing Jan day at OT It would make me very happy just to win the game on pens, or a goal deep into Fergie time.
Leeds V United always matters.
Leedsdeel Fair One
RB&Wside............It was a play on the name mate, kinda giving it a Leeds twist, believe me at my age i know who Norman played for
we only got 1,500 last time we went there in the league cup in about 2003. leeds council reduced us on the grounds of 'persistent standing.' thought they might have forgot about that by now though. gutted if we do only get that many tickets, loads of our lot have been looking forward to this for years and loads will miss out if our allocation is that small.
funny how United always get "hit" with this "persistent standing" lark yet if you see plenty of other supporters standing up?
L/pool have cut Uniteds allocation but whenever I see them on the box home/away theres plenty of them standing up!
I'am sure Leeds could do with decent crowd for this, cutting their own throat if they dont give United at least three thousand for this.

Good point well put, that's exactly how we feel!
It'll be a humdinger.
spot on old newton heath. also, liverpool tried pinning the reason for our allocation being cut at anfield on it being the local council's desicion. funny then that everton haven't done the same and we've still received the standard allocation there. leeds owe us a decent amount of tickets in any case, seen as how we gave them 9,000 when they came to our place in 2010.
Didn't whiteside play for everton?
norman whiteside did briefly yes,but what's your point?
