GB, it's not his fault, nobody has bothered to tell him what position each player plays

You're entering Hodgson level performances now

Listening to Macca, James and Redknapp...whatever you think of them they are spot on, Liverpool should have wiped the floor with both Bordeaux and Sion....we were NOWHERE near.

Maybe we showed character

He needs time to build his own team with HIS players, give him money to spend in the summer and judge him after next season, Rome wasn't built in a day

GB, I now entirely agree with you. I was less optimistic than you so (rightly or wrongly) formed my opinion abou BR a little sooner. I remember when mediocrity was not tolerated at our club; now it's expected and accepted. These are sad times.

I was gutted as I had you at -1 on my accumulator, fancied you to win at least 2 nil.

Marseille let me down too, so in the end I could LAL quite happily

GB, your early season optimism seems to be evaporating fast.

Look, i WANT BR to succeed..but everyone can see that his tactics are poor, his selections are poor, his systems are confusing and most of all he doesnt get our club in europe, he doesnt get it!

I didn't get to watch the game today but as expected I did not miss much.

I still think Rodgers team now is worse. With Hodgson we reached quarter final in Europa league. Rodgers record in Europe is so poor

GB you are the definition of fickle man. Before the Villa game it was Rodgers out, after it was well we have the studge back and playing well so he can turn it around, now its back to Rodgers out.

1 game shouldn't change your opinion.

Goofy..oh u missed it, you missed how a team of very talented players was made to look absolute sht by a incompetent manager, and it WASNT Sion btw!

Our performances under Rodgers in Europe have been humiliating.

Even Roy negotiated the Europa stages without any problem. Even Roy.

I think your biggest downfall has been the transfer committee.

Does Rodgers have the final say on transfers?

If not, his hands have been well and truly tied and would explain why he has not been able to get the best out of players he never truly wanted.

Either have a DOF who shares the managers vision and philosophy, or you give total power and confidence to the manager to make the right choices.

Liverpool should have let Everton take their place in Europe instead.

he nearly won the league and better

Tiddles..its not that, i want BR to do well, so i was hoping that we would perform and win, but yet again brs tactics, team selection has fkd us.

What i mean is that i wanted to get behind the manager, but not blind faith behiind him. Another chance today, and he failed...yet again, he failed.

On to Sunday, i want us to win....we will concede probably from a set piece, Lukaku will bully us and BR will somehow manage to mismanage.

I said earlier there was no point playing a weakened team against Sion trying to rest our key players for Sunday when our even best team is going to get beaten by Everton. We should have gone for the win against Sion as we have no chance on Sunday.

If by some miracle we we to win our next two games GB will be banging on about a title push

At this stage BR has realised he can't set up a decent defence and has decided to get back to gung ho football. That will take a good few matches to bring into effect except this time he doesn't have Suarez to bring it all together.

The good news is we have Studge and Benteke who are capable of becoming an awesome double act.

Personally I want to see where this takes us before casting aside the manager.

Exactly. Everything was rosy for him again after the Villa game. He's a terrible, fickle fan.
