I think its silly to be in the Jose out camp so soon into a season. However it is interesting to discuss what went wrong in this side. He's won three premier leagues with us, of course the guy is good. However some of the policies taken place throughout his reign have been very questionable.

I don't think its helpful for people to let your emotions cloud your judgement. There are people right now on this board who happen to have different opinions slinging shlt at each other. Jose fans need to look at the current run we are on, how is it acceptable exactly from a title winning team? Also Jose haters need to be aware there isn't any candidates out there to manage Chelsea as of now.

We can only hope he can turn it around, but if come December and we are below 6th, then Jose must go.

Ok i think a few have missed my point , not all.

Firstly at no point am i advocating blind faith support, which is being suggested.

All I'm saying is look at the bigger picture appreciate what we have.

Certainly voice your opinion and disappointment but buying into the medias have a go at the club and Jose is not loyal support.

It strikes as there are supporters at the club who do not like Jose, they clearly like to agree with the medias opinion and view of him.

These people are entitled to there view , but are these same people grateful to him for what he has brought to the club over the years ?

At present its clear that the squad is at odds and our results and form fckn suck.

But to dismiss Jose in such a away over 12 game run is fckn absurd.

Those who do not like him ,but will be amongst the celebrations every time he manages the club to success are hypocrites .

The club and manager deserve to be given respect , support and time considering we are 12 games in, those who baying for his head are just enpowering those who naturally dislike the club.

Mr C made an excellent point, something to the effect . Jose took over a talented squad ,and built his team around it, but now we have far from progressed to a level that every one would have expected, i totally agree.

But surly the man deservers respect and more time to put it right , considering his ability and record.

Imo the club , players and manager deserve our support , but they also do have to stand up and be counted.

Finally those who are suggesting I'm advocating blind faith support should read the article properly( no hard feelings I'm always doing it, and running my mouth )

Iffy,

I really don't know WHO your OP was aimed at, there has only been one or two who want jose gone.
It would be sad for me if he left but I would be nowhere near as fussed as when he first left, and you could not really blame the board. We have been woeful the whole of 2015. A WHOLE YEAR!

Went out in the CL with a whimped, FA cup Whimper, and struggled all year in the premier league, somehow beat west ham and a few others last season to secure the title and we was already so far ahead.

I would never dismiss jose, but something is seriously wrong mentally with him if he is the only person out of 70 million people in the Uk who would play ivanovic and fabregas right now. (people argue rahman shouldnt be chucked in for dodgy reasons like he's not ready, but my nan would do a better job as fullback and hes a PRO footballer!)

I don't want jose gone, I want him to stop making these mistakes and picking our worst players, if not he is only sacking himself and we will not pick up enough points to get into the top half of the table.

He's imo bringing alot of this on himself. That's why he's losing some of the respect imo.

It seems that you have a lot of affection for jose, like we all should but are getting confused yourself iffy. Football is a pressure sport and your only as good as your last game/month or season. Look at footballers, michael essien was unbelievable for us in his first stint. Got injured and we loaned him out, he wasnt good enough the second time sadly.

People have a right to judge jose on both his runs as manager, and the football in general hasnt been that great, the results this season havnt been great, and overall with the best player in the league and the best defence it hasnt been that great at all. Thank god there was no challengers to the league last year.

Nick , as bad as we were last season we won the EPL title or have you forgotten ?

The scousers have not won it in 21 years.

Im certainly not getting confused, all I'm saying i feel the club and the manager deserve respect and we should be grateful for what we have had.

They fcked up this summer but its not march and we are not looking at relegation.

The sentiments we are seeing are the type of thing i would expect feb/ march not Sept/Oct.

Im far from happy with the form and results but i would prefer to give the manager and club time to work it out seeing as it is October.

of course we should be happy with what we have got. But we should also be realistic. These players are getting 150-200k and cant play football. its the sad reality. And I know we won the title, but boy was it draining

I just want mourinho to turn this around. The problem is our style of play is so turgid that we look hopeless going forward and defensively we're rubbish so begs the question, What are we doing in training. Why cant we ever keep possession for more than 3 passes. Why do we keep giving the ball away so often. Why are our players afraid of taking risks rather than playing it safe backwards. .

, mourinho is known for building solid defensive minded teams. Once that is gone, what does he have to fall back on? Nothing really.

The problem with being a team that relies on being organised defensively is that the team never really learns how to attack and keep possession and once we lose that organisation, what are we left with. We can't create attacks, counter attacks or keep possession and we're conceding goals left right and centre ... So we're left with nothing.

Only way I see him rescuing this situation is if he buys new players who are left to their devices upfront and aren't forced to become part of the rigid structure that mourinho has everyone playing
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because of his past achievements for Chelsea and other clubs, Jose has earnt the right to stay on this season and try to turn things around, no doubt about that.

I have to say that I don't think he will. to me he looks like a manager that has been found out and has no idea how to tun it around, but I have been proven wrong so many times before so why not this time too.

Biggish I want him to turn it around. It's difficult though because we can't even score goals anymore to bail us out. We're leaking goals too. Definitely deserves a year minimum but he has to give us something to work with. Either get the team playing better football or start winning. The two usually go hand in hand but in this situation the misery is being compounding by the fact we're playing some rubbish football

Im alright mate, strange goings on at the bridge.

i think this season will be pivotal for Jose.

Lots of theories ,

Has he ran out of ideas, has he been found out, are his management methods great in the short term redundant in the long ?

By the end of this season we will know .

Personally i feel that there is something drastically wrong at the club and we are not party to it.

But if we don't improve immediately his days are numbered , but where the club will go next is a unknown.

This is more than a blip.
