It works this way.
I want wolves to be successful, I want OUR players to be doing it in the main, I do not see any point in preparing somebody else's player unless he is going to have a huge impact, something ojo certainly hasn't had.
And the fact Graham has been outstanding since his arrival just makes the decision to push him out even more annoying.
Like I say the transition between age group and senior football is massive.
If a young player can make that transition at a lower level where, hopefully, he is one of the more skilled, fit and talented players on show then they have the best chance of their strong suites making up for their lack of experience, (at times) poor decision making and the fact that they are unused to the pressure of games where 3 pts are everything.
You are far more behind the youth plan than I am, if you want it to work you have to learn patience I'm afraid. Graham might take until next season to be ready or may be ready later this or may never be ready but he has a lot to learn that can't be learnt in babby football so give him chance to learn.
I understand the concerns tats, but that isn't how saints go about things and it is certainly working for them.
And also, we are happy to do it in a far more pressurized situation at the back, so why not the wing?
We all want Wolves to be successful. We all want our player to be the ones doing it.
We don't know what went on with Graham behind the scenes, however he has been given the chance to prove he can do it at first team level. If he continues to do what he is doing at Oxford, I'm sure he will be given a chance here.
Eusebio was in a similar position to him last season. He had been on the fringes and exceling at u21 level. He went out on loan, didn't perform or look ready for first team action.
Perhaps this was in mind with the Graham loan deal. Better to risk an unknown quantity elsewhere for a month than in our own first team.

All of Hause, Iorfa, Batth and EEL have had loan stints or played first team football at other clubs before playing for the first team.
Enobakhare?
I guess it is how we want to do things, but seems daft to me, we turn to Byrne who looked good in league one when we could have given our own a go who it turns out is too good for league two.
And saved ourselves a million which would delight amigainsunnyperton.

Isn't it?
Sam Gallagher, 20, on loan at MK Dons
Jack Stephens, 21, on loan at Boro after spending last season at Swindon
Jordan Turnbull, 20, on loan at Swindon
Last season they loaned out 11 players, haven't checked the ages.
Our hand was forced with Enobakhare, through injuries and lack of squad depth.
Byrne is a right sided player, who I guess was brought in to provide competition on both wings. I am sure if Graham continues to perform he will also be competing for a place back here. At present, he has only made two starts at first team level, whereas Byrne has a good few seasons under his belt.
They also blood plenty straight from the reserves tats, and like I say, the biggest issue to me is the bizarre business plan.
We have numerous weak areas so spend a million on a player we likely don't need as we have a ready made player in the reserves.
Whilst doing this we ignore attack and throw a 17 year old with very few games even at youth level under his belt into the full team mix.
Instead we have given Byrne time on the left, a position he isn't aaccustomed to.
Not to mention loaning a guy we won't play regularly as well.
Just seems a little daft to me.
We did terrible business in the summer which has left us short in several areas, you will not find me disagreeing with that.
The way to rectify that is not to chuck in a kid who isn't ready and, potentially, ruin his career. The way to rectify it is to stop this pathetic experiment now and sign some experienced players.
I would go along with that tats, if that were part of the plan, no doubt.
Hence no problem with ALF, we needed someone ready made for that position and we got one, but we need so much more.
My problem with the Graham situation is that we are pushing him out while handing the job to two more inexperienced players, one of which we will never own.
If we had a player on the left who had seen it and done it then fair enough on loaning out a younger guy.
Ojo already has a dozen games under his belt at Wigan and The Red Scouse are using us the way we use lower league teams and Byrne has a 100 starts to his name.
Neither is the same as Graham.
Besides if Graham makes too much of an impact this season he'll be sold in the summer and who will be build next season's team around?
Ah well feck it, time will tell I guess.
For now we shall just make do with what we have no doubt.
My problem is that "for now" might be very long time.
Last season was "consolidation" for a push this season. You think we're anywhere near a push?
Next season will be exactly the same. Lose a few key players in the summer, off load a few that haven't made it, replace with younger cheaper options, wait six months for them to gel, reach the summer window and repeat.
We certainly are no further along than last season that's for sure.
And that really pees me off, we were on a roll and have decided to do very little to maintain that momentum.

Absolute nonsense Tatter. Why on earth would you want to establish yourself somewhere you don't want to be?
I wish I'd never mentioned Jackie Graham now
You meant well Halfy, you have got half a heart of gold.
So are we not going up this season?
