Also, can I just check I've entered some strange parallel universe here where Ronaldo is average, lazy and over rated?

Dung i can cope with all this crap but don't mention bacon on my thread remember i am in a Halal country where cloven hoofed meat is off the menu !

Merseyside, I do believe there are parallel universe forces at work in your post...

Nev - My apologies.

Jeez - don't know what happened there.

Basically I think Okazaki could be as good as Vardy. We're just not playing to his strengths in the same way.

Vardy is fantastic for us and in the form of his life. But don't forget the whole team is set up to play to his strengths.

It's like people are now suggesting Huth isn't good enough. He is, he's still as class as he was last season, he just doesn't have the team set up perfectly to suit his strengths.

All about the team for me.

Except where RDL is concerned. Then it's all his fault for me.

Agreed I'm not sure we are getting the best out of Okazaki at the minute.

Cheers Mersey i will have some Stilton with that!!!!

The good news now rather in the rest of the history of our club we don't have to sell him and if we do we have the funds to buy a replacement.
Again in the past would of been one of those players we get every ten years.

As Dung said we wuold change our style or i think that oki would relish the job so its still happy bacon sandwich free days

Dunge you hit the nail on the head when you said Vardy would be the hardest player to replace and that's why I wouldn't swap him.

I do think we'd cope without him if he was missing and with him still at the club and not a big time Charlie in the dressing room, I do think they'd continue to play the way they do. Stick Ronaldo in there and I don't think they do.

posted on 20/10/15

Yes, but I say that on the basis that we wouldn't realistically be able to replace him with someone of Ronaldo's calibre!

Decent strikers are worth their weight in gold in this league and I believe that to be the case with Vardy. The problem is that Ronaldo's worth his weight in platinum.

As long as you're talking about The currently playing Ronaldo?

posted on 20/10/15

The other Ronaldo's worth his weight in bacon.

thats an important clarification and could explain arros logic......!

I was going to have a goose on the Spurs board, but I don't think I dare....lol! 🙈

Oh you've got to schlupp, it's honestly some of his best work.....

Does evwyone remember the original ronaldo in his prime?

I'd say better than new Ronaldo, just not as great as he couldn't stay at his peak for more than 3 glorious seasons before he became broken and/or slightly fat!!!

The Brazilian Ronaldo was an incredible player, one of the all time greats in my opinion, simply unstoppable at his best

posted on 21/10/15

BS you're a sad twwat, do you realise that? Just wanted to say that! You need to get a life and find more enjoyment than me having my own thread because I'm not an arrrse licker like you! I say what I think and I don't give a feck what a sad twwat like you thinks!

I don't rate Kane and I'm not alone!

I wouldn't swap Vardy for anyone and again I'm not alone! I think he's too important and I don't think the rest of the team will play the same with Ronaldo, Messi, Aguero in it. I'm looking at the bigger picture and thinking about how the team will play, not a name on a piece of paper

I'm sorry but I can't see him being happy playing our style and we don't have players good enough to adapt so no thanks, I'll keep Vardy and keep the rest of the squad playing as they are instead of risking losing that and having a big time Charlie that's not interested.

I don't think we need Eriksen or any of Spurs midfield or attack because ours, on the pitch at least and not paper, are better! This is absolutely highlighted by the number of goals we've scored in 2015, Spurs are nowhere near! We've already scored 8 more than them this season. So why the feck would I want to swap any of their midfield or forwards for ours? That's mental to me! Swap players that don't score goals for those that do? Are you kidding me?

I don't think Spurs are that great and at the moment we look better. West Ham look better too and Liverpool have a better squad and now a better manager. Spurs have one striker and I think he's overrated! The likes of Eriksen aren't doing much to improve their goals tally either!

I've watched Sanchez numerous times and while I think he's a class player, I've never seen him outmuscle, outpace or outjump anyone but apparently he does therefore ive accepted I might be wrong!

Spurs are just like West Brom and think that just because they're Spurs that automatically their players are better but I disagree. On paper maybe but football is played on grass and our team is currently better. It's Leicester's team and players that are written about daily, not Spurs'.

I don't give a shiiite which team players play for, if I don't rate them or I think our players are better, I'll say it! I think Kane is shiiite, I think Mahrez is quality, I love Albrighton and Dyer as wingers and from what ive seen, they're a lot more dangerous and exciting than anyone in Spurs' team. Like I said I dont look at teams on paper, I value way more on how they perform on the pitch and we perform better.

I've not seen anything from Spurs that makes me think they're a good side, other than the fact they're Spurs and should be a good side but they're not!

So for them to create an article because of that and for you to find it so hilarious, really does say a lot about how sad you are. Seriously, get a life BS!!

Come on Arro, you have to admit it is slightly amusing.....

And take it in good spirits pal, you're most peoples favourite poster, including mine. Theres no malice, we just find what you say genuinely brilliant!

My favourite comment from a Spurs fan yesterday;

Could you imagine if arrow was Real Madrid manager

He'd drop Ramos, Ronaldo and Modric and replace them with Wes Morgan, Drinkwater and Vardy

Arro,

You've never seen Sanchez out pace a player before?

Now I know you've barely seen him play!

I don't find it all that amusing to be honest, I find it annoying!

My reasons are perfectly justified for wanting Vardy over Kane, Vardy is my all time favourite player therefore trying to take him away and swap him for someone better, isn't a consideration.

Back in the day I loved Walshy and still do. Even though he wasnt the greatest player ever, I wouldn't have swapped him and the same with Vardy!

I genuinely don't think we'd be a better team with Ronaldo, Messi or Aguero and I think we'd lose a bit of what we're about and even a couple of percent would make a huge difference. This is why I wouldn't swap. There's nothing wrong with that because it's a legitimate concern and not one person in here could argue it wouldnt happen so who is everyone else to ridicule for me preferring to keep what we have on the basis that the rest of the team doesn't suffer?

I'm genuinely happy with our midfield and attacking options and don't think we need anyone from any other club in those positions. What has Eriksen done this season? Not much from what I've seen and we don't need him. Again thats fair enough because surely I'm allowed to prefer players that I know do a good job rather than someone I don't know enough about to say I'd swap him.

Yep that comment was ridiculous because I wouldn't do that at all. As if I'd put Wes in 😉

If i was Tottenham manager I'd drop Kane for Vardy and I'd swap their midfield and attack for ours but keep their defence. I've seen Eriksen plenty of times and not been impressed and I don't really care what others opinions are because that's not what I've seen from him and I can only base my opinion on games over seen. Out of interest, what has he done this season? I don't know because ive not come across any articles about him.

I dont think Spurs are very good, they're pretty average to be honest. No strength in depth and only one misfiring striker, ridiculous!

Eriksen was injured for the first four games so has only been playing for five games, in which he's got two goals and an assist.

posted on 21/10/15

I also think it's ridiculous to suggest that most of their team would walk straight into ours, bullshiiiit!

Lloris, the two centre halves and Walker fair enough.

Alli - no
Lamela - no
Son - no
Kane - no
Eriksen - He wouldn't walk into our team either so no!

Not many players will just walk straight into our team but the Spurs fans do and I vehemently disagree. Is Eriksen a better standard of player than Inler? I don't think so. Eriksen has played CL football but so had Inler plus he's captain of his country, has played in two world cups and Euro's do i'd say they're on a similar level and he can't get a game so why should any of Spurs' players waltz straight into the side?

Outpace yeah but bit outmuscle and outjump. I live in Australia so don't get to watch much of any of these players.
