This was a fantastic article. I'd like to know why Vardy's spirit only has an effect on the attacking players though. Surely it's not TEAM SPIRIT if it doesn't help the whole team!?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It does help the whole team it's just our defenders aren't very good.

I started going down to Filbert Street in 1979/80 and the closest thing ive seen to this team spirit, was under MON. That was good but this is next level. It's unbelievable and this is the first time ive seen anything like this at Leicester. It's something you'll find every Leicester fan loves and every pundit and newspaper article goes on about it so it's a pretty big deal that you lot are massively underestimating.

Why did Vardy's spirit only kick in after half time in the Saints match? Why not from the first minute?

It's on a time delay, to make sure they rescue by points by "coming from behind"

Because like a good movie, the hero always has to get beaten up first to realise the struggle. Only then, once they've fixed their problems, can the hero be the player the fans deserve, but not the one they need.

Was having a bad day at work but this poster erm joker has cheered me up no end. Have to say though good to see someone passionate about his club although his arguments are neither here or there.
Bar last 10 games of last season where they hit form Vardy would be plying his trade in the Championship. Good to see Clubs like Leicester doing well however they are 2-3 bids away for their best players and they will be struggling again. Clubs like us can recover but Can Leicester??
If that happens can guarantee you wont see this poster on here for dust. Just like the many posters from the likes Of Sunderland , Newcastle and others who made our board their second home in the past..
Keep em coming
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We're not a selling club and we're a club aiming for Europe with a manager and board well capable of it. Which teams will want Vardy? Spurs probably but I can't see City, United, Liverpool, Arsenal or Chelsea signing him. He's a bit unfashionable and not world class, which is what those teams should be buying.

So who does that leave? Nobody he'd leave Leicester for!! Same with any of our players. Maybe a top four club would want Mahrez but again I doubt it. That again leaves no club he'd want to leave Leicester for.

Without the top four knocking we don't have too much to worry about.

You think of spirit as something you turn on and off. The spirit in the team is amplified when they have to get themselves out of a mess, which they get into because they're not all the best players we've ever seen.

Our defence not being good enough has nothing to do with team spirit, it's about not being good enough at marking, positioning or concentration

posted on 21/10/15

Liverpool and Spurs could take those players if they wanted.

If we didn't have such a good team spirit, we wouldn't get out of the messes our defenders get us into! It's not rocket science fellas jeez you lot are hard work

But I thought Vardy > Ronaldo?

Only because Vardy is a more spiritual person.

Arro misses the point though. WIth someone like Ronaldo, the chance of you going behind is far less, and you certainly have a better chance of scoring goals with him.

Ok then, how about this; why didn't Vardy's spirit win Leicester the match against Saints? His spirit should be strong enough to do that. I'm not even sure Vardy has any winning goals this season does he?

I think what Arro is saying is that Vardy is Jesus.

What are you on about Jay?

Getting a point from a losing position is better than winning and getting a clean sheet

If they wanted? Liverpool won't want and I don't think any Leicester player will leave for Spurs because they're not that good.

Also, our owners will be aiming to compete with Spurs in the coming seasons and we have loads of money and don't need to sell. The owners are ambitious and they want European football so I don't think they'll be selling to Spurs for anything less than a small fortune. Our players are happy here too. Maybe you could tempt one of our rezzies if you could guarantee first team football 😂

Who cares about a clean sheet when you can score? Clean sheets are only important if you cant hit a barn door. So for Spurs. We'd like a clean sheet but feck it, goals are more exciting and we score loooadds!

You underestimate Liverpool and Spurs' pulling power in the premier league.

Outside the top four they are by far the most attractive destinations for any player. Your owners may have loads of money but Spurs are still a richer club than you. Shown by their revenue, wage bill and spending in the market.

It's all well and good having ambition to compete with Spurs, doesn't mean you will. And Spurs have even bigger ambitions giving their impending stadium move, which will increase their global appeal and revenues exponentially.

It's highly unlikely Leicester will be able to compete with that on a regular basis. Especially given Vardy's age, so you'll lose his spirit in a few years.

I think it's very difficult to keep clean sheets if you've got to keep coming from behind.
