I'd be very surprised if Mourinho is sacked.

It'd be facking funny, but very surprising.

It'd be the biggest mistake Chelsea have ever made

Dunno why Chelsea even gave him such a long contract.

If he has lost the dressing room as lot of paper are suggesting, then I think it is easier to sack the manager than say 11 players.

The club have to put a lot factors in order to weigh the benefit and costs of each option available.Otherwise, on the face of it things (excluding the dressing room factor), it is not sensible to sack Jose 10 games into a season.

Persist with Mourinho and Chelsea may not even make CL which will cost them more.

It seems impossible that this run will continue. They don't have to do that well to come 4th and I think they will take that this year.

Its bizarre how poor they have been though.

Looking at Chelsea this season, yes. The guy is more focused on hidden agendas and conspiracies than football this season. Maybe if he focused on his actual job of managing the team things might well improve.

Didn't you spend a similar amount on hiring, and then firing, AVB and his boys?

Is it time to call all Chelsea fans fickle yet?

Blah, blah, last week you all said he was the best in the world, this week you all want him sacked. That sort of thing.

Not saying we should sack him, but if he is the main problem then £37 million is a bargain compared to say, signing a top striker (for I dunno £50 million) in January to save our season. We must be done paying AVB's contract by now so there will be funds available, surely.

We're probably still paying off Winston bogarde and Phil scolari.

On a serious note. I read somewhere that the contract has an early termination clause in there and the actual compensation figure has not been revealed like it was last time.

To be honest. I'd rather pep guardiola than Mourinho. Not to say I want Mourinho gone right now. He's earnt the right to sort this out.

Let's be honest here lads. The football we play is sht. It's not even about winning. It's about seeing us attack the other team and dominate them and having some shots on goal. Not defending your own penalty area for 90 mins. I suspect many of you feel like this but don't want to admit it. I've made the first step. Come and join me up on here fellas

I said at the weekend your 1-0 down and get a man sent off just before half time.

His 1st thought is take Cesc off and get Mikel on.

I'm sure some people will argue it was needed to re-enforce the midfield but to me it stunk.

Mr C

The thing is mate it is all about winning, certainly under the Roman regime anyway.

DiMatteo had us playing some outstanding footie at the beginning of his second season but it wasn't enough to save him from the sack.

Whether we like it or not winning comes first and if managers don't do that at Chelsea they get sacked. Style of play is always going to be an afterthought under those type of conditions.

And no I dont want him sacked, just to play football

Superb/whitewall, I just want some excitement back in our football!

We're boring as fack and we lose. So whats the point lol..

Spot on. But as odd as this may seem, does he have the ability to sort it out? How often has he been in this situation? He's acting like he's completely out of his depth right now.

The worst team he's managed was Leiria in Portugal. But they were a decent team when he took over (5th best in Portugal). He's never been in this position before and he's struggling for answers.

posted on 26/10/15

Mr C yeah the footie has got worse mate but let's not forget it was footie that allowed us to win the title and we were second highest scorers last season.

Also in fairness the footie was good up until about December/January last season.

I read somewhere that the club had taken measures to ensure they don't have to pay the full amount of his contract.

posted on 26/10/15

That's a lot of money if true (which I doubt).

It's a strange one. If he has lost the dressing room it's going to be tough but overall I'm not sure he is handling it well. In fact he seems to be self destructing.
