The OP should of said Radical Islam in the title. Then the answer would be that there is a small risk. Even if they attack the small scale of the attacks kills a handfull of people in cities of millions.

I'm not sure I would be loyal to much that didn't deserve it. I am not a dog. Nonetheless, an elected head of state at least has a democratic mandate to rule and thus deserves more deference than someone who fell out of a fortuitous vä gina.

Peace is a complex process that is achieved best when people understand each other. That requires using our brains before using our trigger fingers.

I know quiet a bit actually and much more than you. and yes there are issues caused by colonial/slavery history , but these issues in Nigeria don't have to do with the West.

Blaming all these atrocities on Western policies is what really gets to me. Not defending the policies, But also i don't want anyone to justify these atrocities.
The fallout of these types of atrocities will be felt more by normal Muslims going about their business.

It's not about blame, it's about understanding enough to untangle the knots and actually effect long term change to try and stop future attacks.

The best way to defeat your enemy is to make them your friend.
