I condemn the advocating of nuclear holocaust in the strongest way possible and would like echo such condemnation towards Jihadi John or any extremist who beheads in the name of religion.

Manfrom is from America (I'm assuming), don't see people abusing him for that on here.

It's that portrayal of the facts and how tales are told (like I was telling you in that other article) that makes people form opinions. Pool was being an idiot.

What has happened on other days has no relevance to today.

Like I said, I called him out for acting like a nob when he started ranting about sending people home in body bags if they have a different opinion to him, for advocating nuclear genocide and being generally racist. Nothing to do with his nationality.

There is a derision towards the USA that our media seem to perpetuate. Mainly cause fox news etc creates a freakish spectacle that many in the UK lap and wrongly stereotype. Though some posters fuch as pool my don't help.

Listen wise guys,I have seen America slated when other people and states get away with being basket cases,and no one dares say anything,for fear of being right wing or racist.
Pool was abused for being American,end of,on those posts,not today,as I did not see it.

Yeah, about sums it up.

Does make me laugh though, some try and post derogatory comments assuming as I live stateside I am a lover of the USA, but the truth is I am not, I just appreciate the good things about it and recognize the bad things.

But hell, I would happily live in just about any country on earth so what do I know.

Israel and America and the UK are full of humans and mess up.

America is a fantastic country, and the Americans I have met, have been thoroughly decent people on the whole.
The media are somewhat guilty of portraying the worst aspects of this country and its people, guns, religion, right wing politics, the insular nature of some, etc, but the reality of this country, its people and the positive aspects of their contribution to modern culture, is somewhat different.
