Simon... They teach you when you play for professional clubs that if you can't score from 4 yards out that it is a poor finish.

I've worked with various professional football coaches and they all say the same thing. It's a poor finish mate, what you believe is wrong

he was running straight at the goal near enough, maybe a slight degree to the left, all he needs to do is lace it bottom corner. jesus

Don't think I been whinging at all tbh, just calling it as I see it, Costa was poor, magic should of finished but Kennedy hazard and willian were fantastic today. Magic and fab very good. Thoroughly enjoyed the game.

Good few weeks of matches from Hazard and Fabregas turned the corner, now Costa has to step up.
Latter wont be picking up assists unless Costa starts scoring and Fabregas gives him every chance match after match.

Agreed, not bad 2 good performances in a row, but yeh we need to sort out our striking problem, still havent scored from open play or not as a direct result of a fk/corner for god knows how long. Though todays performace we were close and fek me over 20 shots which is nice to see

Costa not the only one that needs to get himself in goalscoring positions though...
Pedro, Hazard and Willian etc whoever plays in three behind the striker.

Cant argue too much with that cfm, but willian has been scoring, we do have to look a little at the rest. But if we can get everyone playing we can hopefully get a good run together......win every game from now on and we'll be champions!

Willian has been scoring from set pieces, not open play.
The less we rely on scoring from set pieces, the better.
More than good enough players to score from open play.
