See, this is the problem with happy clappers like WARam and Jorvik: there IS constructive criticism of MistaKeogh, they're just too busy believing they must clap til their fingers bleed to notice it.
He's as panicky as last season when an attacker runs at him. He jockeys and jockeys and will only go for the ball in a 'last ditch' attempt, ie when the danger to our goal is greatest. Look at the Forest goal: he could have stopped that 40 yards from Carson's line but backed off and allowed them at us. When the ball was played across, Shackell blocked it face on, eyes on the ball. When it came Keogh's turn, he (as usual) went horizontal, head turned away. It's not a coincidence that it 'keeps happening to Keogh'... He's crap at defending, his positional awareness is garbage and his ability to clear a ball from the six yard box is Claude-esque.
Just hope Shacks stays fit, because without him at Keogh's side he'll be as exposed as he's always been.

BORING!
Could a "Jorv v 666" bout have the same clout as the recent Klitschko v Fury match?
I feel Jorv may have to box above his weight for it to be fair contest, (or perhaps go on a pie and pasty diet).
Maybe it would turn-out to be a love-in?
There you go 666, you just proved you are a muppet that knows nothing.
This is not the Norman Hunter or Chopper Harris era when defenders took the man whilst making sure they got the ball with little or no consequences. These days if a defender jumps in without cover a good striker will get past him and go down, defender gets booked or sent off, so a defender must 'jockey' around slowing down the opponent until he has cover, then he can go for a tackle. That is the way they get taught these days, I did a bit of caoching a few years ago when my boy played, it is the only way.
As for Keogh's positional sense, you must be watching a different game to most other people, last year he was often out of position as he had to cover both a centre back and full back that would often go walk about. This year Christie has much improved and the Shack is solid so Keogh's positional play has been excellent if you bother to look at the whole picture.
One thing I do agree with is players that dive in and turn away when a shot comes in is very annoying, firstly they are guessing where the ball is and secondly they are off balance so cannot adjust. Keep your eye on the ball and block it with anything you have even if it does hurt a bit, mummy will rub it better later, stop the shot. Perfect example was Baird against Birmingham, turned his back and it clanced of him and past Carson, if that had been Keogh 666 would have gone balistic, it was Baird so not word from the muppet.
666 stop being negative and try helping the team, either shout your approval or keep quiet when it goes wrong, or better still stay away.
COY Rams.
He's on a roll is WARAM. He sums up the situation perfectly.

Lets suppose keogh is as obviously rubbish as called out, why is he getting in the side? keogh is playing to his abilities, if he is not up to the job then the ire should be directed at Clement for both not fixing him and picking him
...but everyone already recognized that Baird was playing badly: no 'emperor's new clothes' syndrome for him.
You're all idiots.
Clement gets more right than he doesn't: Keogh does not.
Keogh gets more right than you do
It does seem baffling that we can have such a good defensive record if a crucial member of that defence is so useless, indeed it seems to defy all logic. It's also incredible that so many coaches and managers, and Keogh's fellow professionals, rate him so highly, if in fact he is crap. How can these things all be possible?
Righto, he's not a liability at all, makes great decisions, doesn't stand with his arms outstretched when nobody's managed to negate his uselessness, tackles in a timely fashion and bravely blocks face-on.
You fcking idiots.
He IS great, isn't he? We're very lucky to have him.
It's safe to say if 666 did ever manage to play football, he wasn't a defender
