Looks like you have changed it for me Peeder.
Looks like a wingers dream him Vidal.
He was pretty good at intimidating the refs Iwas. We played a semi-final once and were one down with a few minutes to go. He flung himself to the floor then got up and put the ball on the spot. The ref didn't dare argue. Our regular penalty taker (who had never missed) then lost his nerve and refused to take the penalty. I took on the responsibility and fired it wide.

Been there, done that Vidal, (but it was an U15 game).
In my post-Apostle career I played for Mid-Staffs Hospitals for a few years and became the regular penalty kick taker. I never missed another penalty. I hit it as hard as I could to the keeper's right every time. The shame of that one I missed will never leave me though.
Fascinating stuff, I'm intrigued. Is there a twist?

To be honest im a bolton fan who hopes it all falls down and we have to start again. The big money, flash football media driven rubbish we see today is carp! id much rather see my local team, at a local ground, watched by local FANS with local players. Yeh i loved the mid 00's it was great, but i dont have any saitisfaction in watching football where success is deemed 6th in the premier league.
until there is a better spread of wealth, footballs a non entity to me
Bolton Wanderers' decline is a cautionary tale for all of us. It seems like, at Derby, MM is doing it properly through by investing just as much in club infrastructure as he is in players.
Makes me realise how fortunate PC is in inheriting such a fine squad as well as a well run club - diametrically opposite to what McL has walked into. Mostly a club changes manager because of catastrophic failure. Therefore the squad is expensive and on long term contracts, is hard to change in anything like quick time. The manager is on a hiding to nothing to try to restore someone else's failing squad to success.
McL was lucky to get the Derby squad when he did. He turned them around into a more positive unit - but then allowed himself to be undermined by Mike Ashley.
In the meantime a combination of MM and Paul Clement has hugely improved our chances of success.
Long may it continue
Very well said Ramdini. I just hope Newcastle don't sack SM too soon, I want him to suffer a bit more first. He didn't know when he was well off.
Up to a point VC, but starting to look like cruel and unnatural punishment by any standards
I think most people could take the punishment on the wages he's receiving.

Agree 100% Spart.
Football managers (and players) should be made to work in a care home on £6/hour for a couple of weeks.
I had a mate called Izal,he was rough ,tough and didn't take schite from anyone.
