Would like to measure ourselves against a prem side, see how we stand since we want to be there next season
Unbelievable Jeff.
Home or away lads?
Wick, I can wait until the semi final for that or even next season. It was laid out for us to get to the semis last season with easy ties. That got messed up. When was the last time we played away in the FA Cup?

At least it will be a 3pm Saturday kick off if it's Hartlepool. If it's Salford and because BBC love Salford it would be on a Saturday morning with a 6am kick off
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Did anyone notice how Salford had specially embroidered shirts for the Hartlepool game............... non-league my ar5e.
I hope Hartlepool smash the jumped up Charlie's in the replay. You will need body armour and knee guards to go to Salford. It makes Allenton look like paradise

Yes but we get to play as underdogs, nothing to lose
True Heb, knowing our cup form, absolute banana skin for Salford
Going to make Hartlepool a good away trip. Stand on a terrace, tickets not costing too much. Train to Newcastle. A few coffees in the room then train to see the monkey hangers
Would've thought changing at Darlington was a better bet than Newcastle Griff? long way north to come back south again, plus you wont have to get too close to them pesky Geordies.
Their replay is 15th December @ Hartlepool.
Pools should see Salford off at home, Salfords pitch was like a taty field, pools like a bowling green
The train from Darlington doesn't go anywhere worth stopping for a drink
Might go if Salford get through as I think technically it's nearer mine than derby is.
Can confirm it makes Allenton look like paradise. and I think that's being kind to Salford
I do feel I have to stand up for Salford as parts of it are okay (Media City and the Lowry).
Might make it down to watch if they make it through just remember if you hear someone with a broad manc accent in the Derby section it's probably me not a bunch of idiots (well that's open to debate)
Could be a banana skin tie. Cant see Red Dogs progressing much
Newcastle isn't too far away from Pools Scouse, I've been working up there for the past 5 weeks. The train ride won't be as comfortable as the East Coast Main though
from Darlington you have to change at Thornaby with a 40 min wait there for the train to Hartlepool.
The train from Newcastle take about 40min. But I'm told there are no services between Darlington and Newcastle on the 9th Jan. I think we could be driving with a stop in Thirsk
Why don't you change at York and get the Grand Central service direct to Hartlepool??
Bobby, I think that's what we will do. The times and prices mean we have 90 mins in york on the way home.
It's £32 return for me and my lad with the family railcard return from Alfreton to hartlepool
