Yeah thought her ending in prison was a good ending though.

I defo thought Bix was a goner too and yeah it does add to level of sadness. Glad they didn't make him and Jynn romantic in the end too.

It was a great ending...
We all know Cassian's story and how it ends....
but with that little show at the end of his baby, Rogue One plays different. and we know a part of Andor still lives on.

so, just to clear up, the story in ep 12 ended a year before BBY right and not a few days?

Agreed, I'd prefer Dedra in prison than just killed off

It ended with him flying to his meeting at the start of Rogue One, right?

I think I read somewhere online that it's something like 12 days from the end of Andor to the medal ceremony at the end of ANH.

There was so much to like about the series. The death of Luthen was just fantastically done, and the portrayal of him as an outcast rebel was spot in imo. Although I would have liked to see more of him, Saw was great too. Alongside Bail and Mon, it showed the different sides of the rebellion.

The endings for Dedra, Syril and Bix were all great in their own ways.

If I were to be critical then I’d say the first two episodes were a borderline waste of time. Loved the 3rd episodes with Mon’s dilemma/guilt about her friend. But episodes 4-6 were average imo.

Maybe this is my interpretation but I found Mon’s influence in the final episode less than i expected tbh. She seemed to still be the politician rather than the leader I expected. But perhaps that was the void that Leia needed to fill.

Episodes 7-12 were absolutely fantastic imo .Nevermind SW; that was just exceptional TV.

Rogue One is the closest thing we have to seeing the real Vader in SW.

Unbelievable. Mans posting lies and slander in the A.M.
How much boot to the chest-plate can you take?!
Now, I’ll be the bigger man, and just calm things down.
But anymore slander and I’ll be laying the Smackdown on yer punk ass, well into the P.M

I've finally finished Andor season 2.

I'd give it an 8.5/10. Arguably the best SW live action show ever. It might not have the action and grand set pieces we like but it more than compensates with terrific writing and directing. The characters are engaging and their development is excellently done. The politics and geound level feel made this show bring out a side to SW that we have never seen. Great job by those involved.

I have no qualms with stories set during the skywalker saga but they need to be focused on lesser known characters and they have to expand the universe and not create plot holes. Andor did that. We saw how normal people lived under the rule of the empire and we were given an insight into how it feels to work for the empire.
