Indeed.

Outside of the original trilogy it’s the best Star Wars on screen.

Who doesn’t want to see a skin slide more and more toward Vader? Who doesn’t want to see obi wan become a fully 3 dimensional character? More emperor? More Palpatine? Maul? Mandalorians? Gangster clans? Hutts? Clones? Spread of the fledgling empire? Jedi council?

Everything we want from Star Wars is included in clone wars. This is why So many people want Filoni to take the reigns. He lives and breathes star wars and the universe he’s developed is fantastic.

Clone Wars is essential SW

I will try again, hopefully as i get used to it i enjoy it more

There’s some very good parts but also some boring bits too.

For a small season run on a low running time each episode I’d thought it should’ve been banging every episode 10/10

Although it’s built some good thing to build on.

Clone Wars Series 7 is hitting its stride big time. First story arc with the clones was great. The second that resumed Ahsokas story started a little slow but, man it’s getting good.

The opening scrawl a crimson red, the original John Williams theme, the story now running concurrently with the beginning of Sith. So good.

3 more to go, last one on May 4th. Get in my pants!

Likewise. The new movies deflated me and this hasn’t been able to recapture the spark.

I did however watch Picard and that was fantastic.

Yeah the first series is decent but it’s more a collection of stand alone stories. As it progresses into series 2 and 3 you start to see groups of episodes explore particular story Arcs and start to see a lot more character development. That’s when it really hits its stride. 3 or 4 episode stories, snaking slowly moving toward the dark side, Ashoka becoming a great character in her own right. It’s so worth the investment of time. There’s a few really brilliant story arcs that I’ll revisit from time to time. It’s like having a bunch of animated movies that fit into the prequel time line beautifully.

Just watched episode 10. Brilliant. Running concurrently with ROTS, it absolutely had me on the edge of my seat.

Interesting that the opening credits Of this final story arc are attributed to Lucasfilm and as soon as the episode closes and the titles run, its “created by George Lucas.” I don’t recall that being the norm. It’s almost as if they are paying tribute to him as the saga draws to a close.
