Watched a few episodes of rebels and didn't really enjoy it but I'll give it another try once I'm done with clone wars

It’s much more directed at kids, and a couple of the characters are a bit $hit, but it continues the canon of Ahsoka, Maul, the emperor.

Once through the first season it starts to get decent

S7 wow, now that’s how you finish a show

3 episodes into Clone Wars and struggling to see how adults can enjoy it. Terrible so far.

Took me a season to adjust to it and get over how annoying the droids are

The droids and clones banter is very off putting.

Honestly it was like watching a film. The animation was levels above the rest of the show.

I found it a struggle to start with, actually stopped after the first episode the first time and almost did the second time but it does improve.

Can't say i am as into it as many on here seem to be but it is alright as a filler show in the avo here and there for me.

From what I've seen it seems a very niche type of thing and definitely has a primary audience of young children followed by the real.hard-core star wars fans.

Torture, decapitation, limbs being cut off, aired at 9 or 10 at night. It’s audience was never young children.

Without watching Clone wars & Rebels you’d be at a lost for a lot stuff that’s happening.

For instance on ROS you wouldn’t have known a couple of the Jedi voices that came to Rey.

The new Mandalorian season wouldn’t have a clue who Ahsoka or Bo-Katan is. Wouldn’t even know what the black sabre was.

You’d been sitting there after Solo thinking where the hell had Maul come from and how is he the leader of the underground worlds.

I do get they are abit kiddie especially rebels and the Clangers are really annoying but they really do opened up the universe but at the same time enhance what’s happened before hand.

S7 of Clone wars makes Ep3 a whole lot better and clearer plus the animation and dialogue is cinema worthy.

I would definitely stick with it and once you get used to the annoying parts you’ll really get into the storyline.

Anakin throughout is a excellent watch to see the path he’s going down.

The first 10 minutes mostly, you can skip the rest of the video but it proves why Filoni is on another level when it comes to Star Wars. The force is indeed strong in him.

Listening to Filoni speak while everyone else around the table is totally hypnotized by him, completely at a loss for words, in awe of him, Hanging on every word, that’s a good watch.

I’ll seek out the original show rather than the fan vid. I’d like to see all of them round the table for the full discussion

Absolutely. Season one hadn’t really established itself as eitherSW canon or even a stand alone show.

Once 2 got up and running the old characters were feeling more familiar and the new characters had developed their own personalities.

I’ve nearly done the 3 seasons of rebels already

Definitely more kiddish but some excellent insight of how the rebellion got going
