Got to be Leicester. Small club versus big money. If we cannot win the title then I hope its them (how great to be able to say that!) plus the rivalry of Leicester v Spurs at the top of the table brings back memories of when I started supporting Tottenham!
Leicester. Although they will move further away from us, I can't see them as continuing their great form but if city get a run going then they will almost certainly win the title.
Take a draw, keep everyone bunched up....this season is wide open. The facts are we are half way done and whether its a small club, best squad on paper...etc the league table doesn't lie. Just for the sake or argument..... say Kompany's injuries persist and he plays no more than 7/8 league games for the rest of the season would that dent City's chances ??? I think it might..... Granted same could be said of Kane, Vardy, Giroud etc....But the top 5/6 clubs right now could all win the league
I fancy we will catch Leiecester now regardless of this result.
I feel the only chance we have of finishing above City is if Pellegrini stays.
A point is the best result for us I feel. A point gets 'lost' this way.
Fack top 4, this is the best chance of the title in years, or maybe years to come. Failure may still have an echo of glory and all that caper
Spurs will catch Leicester even if they win. City need to be pegged back, and if they keep losing away, then Spurs will have every chance of finishing above them. I must be one of the few that don`t rate City as highly as a lot. They have some very average defenders.
I can't disagree with everyone's comments. As I said in the OP, I only marginally think a Man City win is best, but I wouldn't be disappointed if Leicester win! It's a no lose situation.
Draw has got to be the best, they both lose 2 points that way, and we gain 2 on both, and only 1 point behind city at halfway- fantastic!
It's easy to look at Leicester as the team we're more capable of catching because it's Leciester, but maybe they aren't. City out of the two look the most inconsistent, and they have other competitions to distract them.
I guess a draw would be the best result for us.
City win for me as we have Leicester twice soon and it won't hurt for them to lose a bit of confidence.
Staying in third will give us more confidence too
A hard fought draw with a few injuries and suspensions thrown in for good measure please.
I would probably prefer a draw, with Leicester picking up injuries and suspensions to key players
3-3 draw. Doesn't help either of them, and I've got Mahrez, Vardy, Silva and De Bruyne in my FF team
