For the third time, I have not engaged in any other discussion other than the quality of the films.
I have only mentioned the cartoons at all when pointing out that they are for children - and only in direct response to the snide, sarcastic comments you have directed at me.
Do you get that now or is it still to complicated for you? Would it help if I drew a cartoon for you?

5 seasons of clone wars with about 18 episodes in them.
For me clone was is a bit childish especially early on but gets better halfway through S1.
I'm on season 3 now but I only watch now and again.
Rebels I love as it more in line with the films especially the way it links with R0.
We got a bit more backstory Saw which was good

yeah there's over 100 episodes. There was actually a sixth season of sorts released. When CW was cancelled, there was a bunch of completed episodes that they released.
the story lines are somewhat hamstrung due to the characters and their fates, for the most aprt, already being know.
But then theres Maul, and Ahsoka, and mandalorians and sidiuos. Its a great companion piece that really expand on the actual wars that went on across the galaxy.
Its a lot more adult or at least graphic than Rebels.

Clone wars spoilers of course, but some tasty deaths in this!
And at the end of the day, despite it being a cartoon, and the scope of the episodes not being able to match a movie, its still star wars. Its still Obi Wan and Anakin and mace and yoda and Sidious and Maul (and jar jar) running around battling their wee hearts out.
Its 23 minutes a pop and links Ep II to Ep III nicely.
I was very sceptical about watching either. In fact worse, I never even considered watching them for all the usual reasons we don't tune into Disney channel.
It was only after reading comments on here about it linking the films together, I started to consider. As soon as someone said Darth Vader was in it, I started to watch
And it was a bit slow to start, and I was wondering who tf the inquisitors were, but if they're in the films, then Fck me I hope to see them. Would be mint if they had a cluster of Jedi and a band of Inquisitors,; with Kylo, Snoke, Blah blah.
'Bout time the Empire started dominating.
After reading all the critical analysis, and few beers and spliffs, I'm about to rewatch TFA
3pm finish from work tomorrow; half days (4hrs from 9am) Monday and Tuesday, with the weekend sandwiched in between. Life is good.
I'm off til Monday now. Was thinking RO tonite with a beer.
Maybe revisit the crappy movies thread for weekend viewing

Watching with subtitles on as I'm on kodi.
Not sure if this has been noticed, but just as Rey hears voices, calling her to the lightsaber, the voices "No, No" the subtitles said
Young Rey (faintly): No, No!
Then she walks to the dungeon and it said
Indistinct: no, come back!
Not sure if that is common knowledge or not?
Shiiit just watched more and realised it is
Although the subtitles showed yoda saying stuff, whispery stuff.
