you know he is bad when rob is giving him a match rating of 4.

Runs like he's running through treacle with an anchor tied to him with a big fat bird on his back.

Fellaini shouldn't be at utd

But he is becoming the fall guy for out defeats. He is average and gives an average to decentish performance when on the pitch. Why do people expect?

Today he is taking flack for smalling, who does that penalty chit week in week out, and Rooney's missed chances and lingaards open goal

have to agree he is a scapegoat

but his time is up with united. we cannot move forward with him

I'm just so mad after that, more annoyed than Stoke away cause I could see that coming. Newcastle are generally rubbish although did well tonight, and we've only gained 2 points against them.

Smalling was poor granted. However he can be let off for one poor performance as he has been excellent week in week out. Fellaini however is pathetic week in week out. That's why again tonight he is the fall guy

He was the main reason Newcastle came into the game in the 2nd half. He should have been hooked within 5 mins of the restart. He actually could have redeemed himself with that chance near the end. He should be facked out of the club. Thanks moyes you fackin twizat

Complete opposite of a united player. Hes a half decent target man but i never want to see united playing it long to a big bloke. In midfield he is utterly useless, and absolute train wreck. For me he just lacks a football brain to play in that position. He gives away so many silly fouls due to his lack of brain cells and awkwardness. When i see him on the teamsheet a little bit of me dies. Its not all his fault obviously. At the end of the day, the squad is in such a mess that we have to use him at all.

I'm not Fellaini's biggest critic but he's been really poor lately and tonight was absolutely terrible.

he is definitely no midfielder
as a target man how many goals as he created or scored to justify his place granted we do not play to his strengths.

I agree he is no way a utd player never was.

Currently if all are fit he doesn't play IMO

But I do see why Herrera went off over him, as Herrera defending is weaker than even fellaini although in every other sense a far superior player

He was signed on the basis he was a handful for our defenders as a target man

Think we all laughed when he and Moyes said he was better at DM

Let's face it he shouldn't have been bought and is average, it let's not be surprised when he gives average performances

I read the first two lines and didn't need to read further. In complete agreement. Fellaini must go. Can't stand him as a footballer for our club.

Has been abysmal this season.

Didn't like him at Everton, don't like him at United.

He made the change when the game was level though so we should've really been aiming to take the lead again which we're more likely to do with Herrera on the pitch than Fellaini.

Van Gaal's made a bad habit of taking Herrera off and leaving Fellaini on in games when the situation more often than not calls for exactly the opposite to happen.

It's just one of many examples of poor management.

100% agree TRS. His subs are baffling.
Although Memphis looked good going forward and created a great chance for Fellaini we were wide open down our left. Darmian was exposed and looked wicked last 10 minutes. memphis made the mistake for the last goal.
What I don't understand is why not keep Darmian at RB and play Young LB. It has to make more sense surely especially with Martial on the right !

Rooney played well but it looks like his best days are behind him in my opinion. I don't watch you guys often these days so could be wrong but he seems to have lost his pace or is he just recovering from injury or has Lvg ripped his heart out or something?

posted on 12/1/16

He has lost some pace it seems and desire and enthusiasm but tonight he seemed to get the touch and desire back. I think he is not enjoying playing under LVG but is being very loyal to him as he made him his captain etc.

But wasn't he specially chosen by one of your specially chosen ones..?

There was an opportunity when he was put through on goal on the edge of the box but for some reason stopped and got tackled and then jogged back stuck in super glue.
It makes me want to burn his hair off
