Very much keeping things in perspective here 😃
We are currently second in the league with only 16 games left to play this season. I am not really looking at as in comparison to Arsenal and Man City ( as I expect them both to pull away and battle for the title).....
But I am grouping us in with Spurs, Man Utd, West Ham in a battle for the other 2 CL places.
BOTH Spurs & Man Utd could play upto 30 more games this season due to FA Cup and Europa League success, whereas we have 16 left maximum.
I fully appreciate that both Spurs and Utd squads are a lot better than ours and more able to cope with the extra games, but that is still potentially a very heavy workload for them both.
Will their potential success in other competitions be detrimental to their Premier League challenge? Only time will tell.
But this is a fantastic opportunity for us to kick on and cement our place in the Top 4.
What a time to be a Foxes fan ( unless you live in Oz)
How's that for perspective Nev?

How many of you believe we're not good enough to play the way Spurs do? I bet most but remember back to the back end of last season, how did we play?
Did we sit back and soak up pressure and only look to hit on the break? How many of those 19 goals were counter attacks? The answer is no and none!
We played a high energy, high intensity, pressing game and we boxed teams in their own half from the first whistle, put them under pressure, caused mistakes, scored goals and usually got the game won in the first half an hour.
We have the ability to play like Spurs, we just don't because Ranieri is Italian and that's not the Italian way. He says we don't have the quality to play that way but that's rubbish because that's when we're best and thats exactly how we played in our Great Escape.
High up the pitch, closing them down, winning the ball back in their half, not on our 18 yard box, scoring loads of goals and keeping clean sheets. It frustrates me watching us play like this when we don't have to. It's working so can't complain but to think we can't play a high pressing game is just wrong!

Why does Ranieri now want another striker? This makes no sense at all!
His reason for not selecting Kramaric was "we have Vardy, Okazaki and Ulloa and I prefer them at this time" so what the feck is he doing now saying we need another striker when we had no room for Kramaric?
I don't blame the lad for being piissed off and saying his "England adventure is over". He said he worked hard in training and had a good attitude and Ranieri seemed to back that too.
When he came on against Liverpool and sprinted the full length of the pitch to stop them from scoring, that was someone showing he wanted the chance, showing the right attitude and desire. That wasn't his job yet it was him that prevented us from losing 2-0.
If anything we need to replace Ulloa, in other words buy another target man and keep Kramaric because he offers us something different. I don't understand this at all.
Is this new striker going to have the same difficulties playing as Kramaric did? Or are one of Vardy, Okazaki or Ulloa going to fall down the pecking order now? This club is supposed to be building for the future and we've just let one of Europe's brightest young talents leave
Ok this sheds some light on it....
"Andrej wasn't the main striker, he was more behind Vardy. But behind Vardy I prefer Leonardo Ulloa and Shinki Okazaki, because Ulloa covers the ball very well, he's a fighter, and Okazaki is another who presses everybody every second.
"Kramaric has fantastic skill but sometimes he rests and recovers. This team can't recover, they need to run, run, run."
So basically we just need someone to run forever, the quality of the player can be forgiven as long as he can run run run.
