disagree. we played narrow. 4-5-1 and 4-2-3-1 are fundamentally different.

I think Shelvey has what it takes to be a regular for us in the future, now we just wait and see.

I'm afraid we certainly did. We had two defensive midfielders to allow our 'wingers' to actually be more like wide supporting strikers.
We still do it now, usually with Downing and Kuyt
