A quick Wikipedia rip.
Ligue 1:
38 games, 18 goals
44 games, 21 goals
Bundesliga:
48 games, 16 goals (on the wing, with Lewandoski up front)
46 games, 25 goals
35 games, 32 goals
That record is consistently great, scoring 20+ goals 3 out of the last 4 seasons, with the exception of being shafted to the wing, he still got 16.
Cavani - 104 goals from 138 - Napoli
72 goals from 109 - PSG
That's not to be sniffed out either. I think Cavani is top class. Maybe not so great this season but you can't ignore those stats or his quality either
Personally I prefer Kane to Aubameyang. It's a game of opinions. What is for certain is that neither are in the top 5 strikers
Who said anything about this season? The list was in general. And yes I do think Cavani is a better striker than Aubameyang.
----------------------
The argument clearly measures Aubameyang by the last yrar-and-half or so. Clearly, no one would insinuate Aubameyang is better than a prime Zlatan. And I'm one of Cavani's fans among many who slate him, but if you think he is currently better than Aubameyang, you clearly haven't seen much of them.
No Harry Kane is not but like sherif said, I would currently have Kane in the top 15 strikers in the world easy
Sherrif, I go by a career and Cavani has been doing it for years so yes currently I prefer him. Now if Aubameyang does it again next season then my opinion may differ
Personally I prefer Kane to Aubameyang. It's a game of opinions. What is for certain is that neither are in the top 5 strikers

You can't go by form too much. Sturridge is a better striker than Vardy despite this season

Cavani's been parked on the bench for the last year, unfortunately as he is a top class striker, agreed. But his form this season has been wayward.

I rate Sturridge very highly, but he hasn't played in 2 years pretty much. I'd argue that Vardy is better. Crockidge is more talented, I agree.

Kane and Auba both have 37 goals in past 2 seasons
Kane is younger
Auba players for a better team and in a less competitive league
Kane has a better all round game
Yet Auba > Kane is 'fact'

-----------------------------------------
Or Aubameyang has 32 in 32 this season while Kane has 21 in 33 (disproportionately boosted by pens).
Kane's age has nothing to do with who is better.
It is contestable whether Dortmund are better than Spurs. You don't have to belittle your own team to score a point. Neither does the "competitiveness" of the league make sense in the argument considering Aubameyang doesn't play for Bayern. He plays for a team that spent a huge portion of last season dead bottom of the league.
Kane doesn't have a better all-round game. Aubameyang can play all across the front 3 better than Kane, having spent a great portion of his career on the wings. Playing as a striker, he just happens to be more positionally disciplined than Kane who often does a Rooney sprinting after the ball all over to get on it. Kane has like 1 assist in all competitions all season.
Let's not go overboard, Aubameyang is not that much better than Harry Kane. You say about Aubameyangs excellent goal scoring record which I agree it is but fail to mention Kane's equally brilliant goal scoring record last season which was one of the best in Europe. You clearly don't watch Kane much sherif if all you think he does is chase stuff and run about. He's got a lot more to his game. That being said you called Dele Ali an " average work horse" a few months ago so I can't take to much of what you say seriously because clearly you don't know as much about certain players as you would like people to believe
The way to look at it is in the last 2 seasons including this season so far Kane has 50 goals in 86 appearances
Aubameyang has 57 goals - 81 a appearances
Not much in it and not much in it in regards to quality of striker either. Kane is not that far behind him to be honest.
Don don't listen to him, Aubameyang is a taller and slightly better version of Walcott, Kane is better
Also why do people act like only Harry Kane takes penalties
Didn't hear people say they inflated Falcao/Cavani/Ronaldo/Zlatan's stats a few years ago
Aubameyang takes penalties too

I haven't argued about whether Aubameyang is "much" better or not. That's a strawman you invented. I simply said he's better than Kane, which he is. I didn't say all Kane does is chase stuff either. I said his Rooneyesque tendency scampering around makes it appear he's more rounded than Aubameyang and he isn't. Both as a striker and on the wings, I'd have Aubameyang over Kane.
I've also had digs at players like Scott Parker, Palacios, Sandro, Walker etc when your likes thought they were the bees knees. The attempt to "one-up" me over Alli to discredit my other opinions is rather clutching a bit. Interestingly, Analog here agreed with many of my points about Alli's sloppiness and dodgy passing at the time. Where Alli has proven me wrong has been the unexpected goal threat he has posed.
His goal threat isn't really unexpected. It's more his quality in general in the final third
