Yeah I would have thought he'd wait for the Boro job if it is available. He's need to be very desperate to come to Forest. Also why would Walsh and Shakespeare leave Leicester or are they loyal to Pearson?
Hmm... Champions elect, practically nailed-on Champions League campaign, or Fawaz.
If Steve Walsh goes to Forest then I'd finally agree we should ban heading from the game.
Compare and Contrast: Nigel Pearson. Alec McLeish.
Seriously though - next manager = Brian Laws
Walsh is pretty loyal to Pearson Caniggia yeah, so the worry for us is that he could follow him to the next job, money of course being key.
He's essential to Pearson being successful, he scouted Mahrez, Vardy, Kante etc. He's the reason our club is where it is now, or a big factor in it....
I'd definitely take Brian Laws - has experience and a good pedigree

Is that just a hunch, Redfor, or based on something else?
BS have you come across 'tREVor Philips' on here?
Dougie hasn't been great but until Fawaz gtfo we're stuck in the endless cycle of expensive, embarrassing and depressing decline
Pearson will never never take be forest job while Fawaz is there. No half decent manager will Take the job. Even Colin turned us down and that says a lot!
we will be in league one within the next two years, you can just see it coming. We get worse every season under Fawaz!
Dropped 4 places a season on average under Fawaz
Billy Davies is second favourite for the job after Pearson.
It really would t surprise me you know with everything going off.
Also, he has said all along that he has a good relationship with Fawaz and that they talk on a weekly basis.
I'm not joking that I would prefer taking the plunge with Billy again over Petrescu or another manager we have never heard of.
Just try and get Pearson though and at least have a manager we can all get behind from the word go.
Odd that King Billy's all over the press last week touting himself like a $5 hooker and suddenly Fawaz pulls the trigger... coincidence?
I would send the poisoned dwarf back to Kuwait with El-feckwit
It does seem strange.
I think I would just laugh if it happened.
For one thing, I do not believe that we will not appoint another manager before the season is out.
The strange thing is that a few days ago you would never have said it would happen but after his interview and what he said about Fawaz, and then Dougie being sacked, it does make you wonder.
At least we wouldn't have to worry about relegation.
We might get to a point where we have to choose whether we want to be known for on the field or off the field issues in a bit
Pearson is a nutter who has lost it. He also isn't for one millisecond going to lick El-feckwits arris now is he.
FK'ING REALITY CHECK PLEEEEEEASE
Whatever happens though Dougies sacking is a complete joke!
Under the circumstances he deserved a crack at being judged next season and now we go from having some optomism next season to pure uncertainty once again.
Makes you wonder why he's resurfaced in recent weeks. Surely not?
It won't be Pearson I don't think. He's the bookmakers favourite for every job but he will be eyeing up Middlesborough. He won't be able to work with Fawaz.
It's going to be Billy and that would be a complete disaster in the long term.....
Back to press bans, throwing photographers out and demanding marquee signings
The issue of the manager will crop up continually. We will be here again in the next twelve months lamenting the demise of the next poor sod who got sold Fawaz's dream. I think it would be best for everyone's sanity, including his own, if Fawaz actively started looking for a buyer for the club and get in someone with fresh ideas and impetus.
Fawaz is like the captain of the Titanic. He knows it's all going to the bottom but steadfastly refuses to leave the bridge. I would like someone to fire the flare gun before it's too late.
I would really like my Forest back. The one that was often complemented by others for their adventurous, attacking football. The one that was complemented for it's sense of fair play. The one that others would back as their second team when they boxed with the big boys at the top of the league. The one that felt like a part of the city.
Nurse!!
What is Paul Williams going to do that Freedman hasn't already tried? I guess one positive is that Paul is now the first black Forest manager.
