Does it feel better when you make things up?
Like a footballing forum version of Munchausen I imagine.
Not even Tranmere are bitter about Everton.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So no RS are bitter? Is it just plain old hatred then? Or possibly all just banter from Liverpool's behalf?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well just banter, obviously, because what on Earth, ever, at all, could a fan of Liverpool Football Club be bitter about when it comes to EFC?
Genuine question.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Maybe our history? The fact that we have so many firsts to our name?
Granted Liverpool have had success over the years but let's not pretend Everton are not one of the most decorated clubs in the country.
Genuine answer.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Which is great but seeing as no one in living memory remembers those "firsts", and taking into account that LFC have surpassed EFC in every single way imaginable, I find that unlikely.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So something only counts if it happened in your lifetime? Does this go for all things in life or only football?

Well you've got us stumped then, why are you bitter red vegetables so bitter? I would have thought that if you've 'surpassed EFC in every single way imaginable' you'd not be bothered with us at all. And yet here you are. Again. Being more bitter than a lemon laced with sherbert!
Obsessed and bitter, it's not an attractive look FYI.
Well I'm only guessing, a bit of pop psychology really, but I'd suggest that the LFC fans you mention are not actually bitter at all, that it's merely a perception you hold to make yourself feel better, and in reality they're genuinely just taking the p!ss out of your sh!thole club.

No, no one is suggesting that they don't count, that would be unreasonable Mr Reasonable, but I reckon it's hard to be bitter about something you didn't experience personally unless, possibly, it's drummed into by a parent but even my dad wasn't alive back then.
Not many of our generation mind ze Germans for example.
Sure Roberto Martinez promised getting Everton a CL spot.

Maybe our history? The fact that we have so many firsts to our name?
--------
Firsts? I actually don't know a single "first" with regards to Everton FC.
Purely because it has no relevance now. Liverpool FC have grown to be a larger club than Everton (mid 80's were a par)
So right now, LFC > EFC, and if that is something to be bitter about, Everton fans accomplish this with aplomb.

Why would Liverpool's accomplishments make me bitter? It brings joy to some of my family and a load of my mates. Everton have won a fair bit in my life time so I am relatively lucky ( not so much my son).
Evertons first have plenty of relevance now, if we were not founder members of the football league then maybe there would be no football league, same for playing under floodlights lights and having numbers on the back of jerseys. Also let's not forget if we had decided to pay the extra rent then there may have never been a lfc at all.
Now I know you will probably laught at what I have said but doesn't take away from the fact that we have been and continue to be trailblazers. Some of the work the club has done especially with the inception of Everton in the community is commendable.
Trailblazers? Trailing behind more like...

You said maybe... there probably would have been considering how popular the game would become and readily playable.
---------
same for playing under floodlights lights and having numbers on the back of jerseys.
-----------
So the advent of floodlights enabled games to be played under floodlights - it's not as though Everton developed the electric bulb.. Bit of a stretch that. Numbers on shirts? That's a logical progression, what about numbers on shorts?
------
Also let's not forget if we had decided to pay the extra rent then there may have never been a lfc at all

Nothing much has changed there then, can't afford the upkeep of a stadium.
But I fail to see how everton being a founder of football league, first to have shirt numbers, or play under lights would be something for others to feel bitter about.
Being a less successful club than your absolute local rivals is a definite source of bitterness. Through your own failings.

As I said I personally don't feel bitter as Everton have won plenty of trophy's, admittedly not as recently as I would have liked, and at the end of the day pretty much any team can win trophies ( which obviously is the main point of football).
Others may feel bitter as they have always followed in others footsteps. I mean even now with all the wealth available to them Liverpool don't offer the services and support to the local community. I suppose bitterness is subjective.
There's no bitterness there at all, certainly not from me or any liverpool supporters I know.
Unfortunately no matter how poor Liverpool have been, Everton have been poorer. It used to be the competition that drove both clubs on an upward spiral. We are finally doing our bit with decent owners and now an excellent manager. When are Everton going to front up and take us on?
It's sad to see certain Everton posters Aroun-d the board hang on to the coat tails of other clubs, or then be christened "the People's Club"
It's good that everton finally have a decent investor, FSG have put LFC a few steps ahead so there's some catchup needed.
A few steps ahead..........

You really believe its true? All this time I thought you were on the wum when you were being serious.
I don't know any Liverpool fans who talk about history more than fans of any other club**
the thing is he actually believes aswell
