Another debut for a Utd academy graduate.

Come on Danny show us what you can do.

Well done for making it in the England setup, but do you really think this guy will be handle the likes of Iniesta, Bousquet, Pogba, Diarra etc?

I am sorry but I can't see it

Wasn't wumming, genuine thoughts please

Kante just scored for France too.

Those are some of the best midfielders in world football, how do you know if you don't try him. Same question could be pointed to Ali.

Alli is different. He's already an excellent player and you could see his talent from a very young age. He'll be an England regular for years to come.

Drinkwater will do well to get in the squads.

A lot of players have shown early promise and not fulfilled it. Ali is clearly quality but has done nothing in his career yet to say he can go toe to toe with those players.

my opinion too.

Alli is talented that's why at age 19 only there are some rave reviews all over Europe, not forgetting in Germany where they marvelled at the guy

How do you even compare Drinkwater to Alli

They are both completely different types of players with Alli having more skilled and scores goals too.

Ah well, try to discuss with Leicester fans, and they get carried away

Congratulations to Kante, scoring on his debut and it's his birthday! 🎂

No player has done something in their career when they have just started. Doesn't mean you can't see their talent and know they will be top players. Alli is doing what Gerrard was doing at his age. Scoring goals from midfield and outplaying his more experienced peers.

He's only 19

Everything points to him doing something both in the league and in Euro, that';s imo

Wow talk about a complete overreaction, in no way did I compare them. Just said the same question could be pointed at Ali. Don't let Spurs bias get in the way of discussion..

Morespurs dressing up another chance to remind us all how much better Spurs players are as a 'debate'

You're not here to debate, you're here to get a reaction as usual

Well here's one - fook off.

So far Walker, Lallana and Milner have been awful

No it can't. Drinkwater has never shown anything to say he will be anything more than a good Premier League midfielder. Whereas Alli is already better than that and has shown the potential to get even better

No it can't? Okay then mate. he listed some of the worlds best midfielders which most players would struggle to go toe to toe with but Ali defiantly will without seeing him play against them. Sure.

posted on 29/3/16

It is totally. Nobody knows. Pochopinoccio didnt think he was good enough up against Dortmund so he didnt bother. Doesn't mean he wont be eventually mind

Different players, pointless comparison in many ways. Alli has excellent technical ability with a great finish and very good movement. Drinkwater reads the game better and does a super job in front of the back 4. A much less glamorous and less noticed role

What a T Watt he is

Drinkwater looks very comfortable ,he has a lot to offer defensively, but always ready to push forward quickly

Much better

Brilliant from Lallana to sort Vardy out with a goal. Assist from Walker too. Those two players you said were playing poorly.
