We have to cease this PSL. I understand foreigners are craving to here in Pakistan but this is causing problems to its denizen. Several roads blocked and what take an hour to commute is taking several hours.

Breaking news as the start of the match has been delayed by approximately two hours after a player has tested positive for Covid-19. The player involved is a member of the Islamabad United squad. We'll update with more info as we get it.

7.34 pm Breaking news: The match has been postponed according to our man on the scene Danyal Rasool. The PCB has tweeted out a confirmation that the game has been rescheduled for tomorrow at 7 pm local time. It's a prudent decision in the end by putting the health and safety of players and match officials first.

Islamabad United have put out a tweet disclosing that the player who has tested positive for Covid-19 is Australian overseas legspinner Fawad Ahmed and he has been put into isolation.
