Once again you have to look at Shafiq again. Still plenty to do but he thinks cos he has a 50 his job is done. Top players make sure when they are in they stay in and score big. Our lot are just happy to survive 20 balls.
Babar Azam is the only batsman that can play for most of the test nations. Rest are FTB.
Babar , Asad and Shan have shown they have skills and temperment. Expect better performance next test. Pcb got horribly wrong by not giving sufficient practice game in South Africa before the commencement of this series.Inzamam is a laid back selector, need more competent personnel in management.

bangladesh and windies will be licking their lips playing pak in test matches. we have fallen so badly in tests after being world number one in august 2016.
High time that Board starts making plan on how we play better in Aussies/SouthAfrica. Every time we go we invariably suffer humiliating defeats.Last time we won test in Aus or SA was back in 2006, thats a record that teams like Bang or Zimb have.
Substandard first class pitches, nepotism in selection, whatever reason , a country that takes great pride in this game should sort this problem out and start winning.
Hasan Ali should have played instead of Inam-ul-Haq & we need to try another opener in Tests!

I remember Imran Khan said a while ago that we needed to completely change the domestic structure in order to improve at Test Level.
Our batsmen are so used to the flat wickets in Pakistan and UAE, that they are lost when having to play in Australia and South Africa.
They need to practise a lot on fast,bouncy and green pitches to adjust their technique & style of play on them.
Why are they not playing today? Thought test cricket was 5 days am I missing something here? Must be raining - would be gutted with a draw

Let's see if he brings some professionalism within the PCB ranks. This should mean that Inzi cannot keep playing his nephew and good domestic players not getting ignored.
What is required is to attend to basic. Spend adequately on first class cricket, eliminate nepotism and team should get adequate practice games when they play overseas. Talent is in abundance in Pakistan, I was in Punjab tour few months back and can confidently state that Pakistan boasts best cricket talent. its fine tunings of skills and shenanigans that has led us down.
