Attempts at goal can be a hoof from the half way line......

Can be, but I cannot recollect any of Spurs 450 plus shots this season, actually being hoofs from the halfway line, so not sure you would even mention it. Sprus having lots of attempts on target is a very legitimate stat.

I've probably watched about 6-7 Leicester games this season..

Villa (H) - Entertaining ✅
Man united (H) - Boring counter attack ❌
Villa (A) - 44% against the worst team in the league ❌
Arsenal (A) - Boring counter attack with 11 men ❌
Newcastle (H) - Worst game I've seen all season ❌
Southampton (H) - Better than their previous 🙄
Sunderland (A) - So poor I stopped watching ❌

I want to see teams play on the front foot, trying to win possession of the ball higher up the pitch, getting it down and passing it. Not sitting the majority of their players in their own penalty box with 38% possession waiting to play on the counter. I don't see why it's almost seen as blasphemy not to enjoy their style of football.

No Spurs fan is claiming that we play like Pep's Barca team did, but I find our game more enjoyable to watch. Other people might not which I have absolutely no problem with.... Although if the theory that those who don't like Leicester's football are bitter, does the same apply to fans of those clubs below us in regards to our football? No double standards and all that

Yeh right we are so bitter about a club who has only ever won one trophy in their 120 years or so.

Grandspurs has it spot on.................the only stat that counts is points.

Not entirely true, their are team of the season awards, their are awards for being top goalscorer, there are endless stats bandied about about assists, who runs the furthest, which goalie has made the most saves, who has the most supporters, etc, etc. You may not like stats, but they are very much here to stay and are part of the modern game.

You have so much more of the ball than we do, yet you've only scored 3 more goals? So excitement = passing the ball from side to side and not being as clinical?

Sandy now using stats in his arguments
Is there a more self-contradicting poster on this board? The hypocritical old fool.
