Really confused about that result

Happy that Leicester dropped points? Definitely.
Happy they got an undeserved point? Definitely not.

Vardy deserved to see red, a bad tackle followed by a dive. The Leicester pen wasnt even a foul, it was shoulder to shoulder and Schlupp threw himself to the floor, and the ref comically gave it.

I wouldn't be happy if I was a Spurs fan because that's a huge psychological boost to Leicester. 2-1 down with 10 men, 94 mins on the clock. To come out with a point is Man Utd-esque.

They will believe it's destined to be and Swansea at home is a very nice fixture to have without Vardy

To be perfectly honest I am confident that Spurs will win all their remaining games, so unless Leicester win three of their last five, that two points dropped today will be a big help to Spurs. I can only see Leicester with one more win max. All good in my book.

I would be happy. Always felt a team within 6 points of Leicester going to the last 3 games would still have a great shot at the title.

Ultimately Leicester got bummed by the ref, it's a +2 for Spurs

Absurd that a professional referee doesn't think about the fact they're obviously gonna look for penalties in stoppage time.

blackstar, if spurs win tomorrow we go 5 points behind you. This could have be bad for you as you will be playing the Swansea game under a little pressure

posted on 17/4/16

It's a good result as long as we win tomorrow!

Theyve got 4 games left, not 5

Expect spurs to drop points against Stoke and Southampton at least and maybe against Chelsea.

As Leicester will have won it before you play Newcastle you'll probably drop points there as well but that'll be irrelevant.

I know we are all thinking it but what the heck does this have to do with AFC Telford

Huge result for Spurs. Anyone who is trying to convince themselves it's a point gained is sadly mistaken.

5 points behind with 4 games to go doesn't seem like much. And then when you consider:
1. Vardy, who's the only goalscorer Leicester have at the moment, is suspended.
2. Everton are good away from home, Man Utd are good at home.
3. Spurs don't play a single team with anything to play for (minus Newcastle )
4. Spurs are scoring for fun and have a great defence.

...a 5 point swing (if we win) seems very achievable.

Leicester fans know this, which is why they are on our board

Two wins from their 4 games will do it for Leicester....

You have literally been saying this ALL season, just give it up the title race is still open for Spurs. Stop with the Spurs bias for once. Its still going to be tough for you to catch us and for you to win 5/5 is a big ask.

Ignore sandy.

Worcester spur - well neither do leicester play anyone with "something to play for" if you consider they also play chelsea, swansea are safe and everton are in midtable. Only man u have CL to play for.

Anyway, ive worked it out (i think) assuming we cut it to 5points, then if Leicester lose 1 more and draw another, we will be above them by goal difference by winning 2 games. This would be the same if they had lost today. However if they lose 2 more games, we must win 2 to go above whereas if they had lost today, then we could have afforded a win and a draw to be above them.

In summary, in terms of points the draw today doesnt make much difference in our objective in that we must win all our remaining games. However psychologically it could be big for them.

Yes exactly, the extra point really doesn't mean much at all. Also, the importance of Vardy to their style of football can't be understated.

It's all about us now, let's see how the team handles the pressure on Monday

No it won`t, they need three, which no way do I see them achieving. They will be lucky to win one.

Your getting twitchy, no I have been saying all season Spurs will win the title, your the one`s with all the pressure on now. The gap was 10 points last week, but Monday night it could be down to five, and Leicester have an horrendous run in.

And why would I stop with the Spurs bias you clown, I support Spurs.

It will only be 2 points dropped by Leicester if we take full advantage and win tomorrow at Stoke.

The lead will be down to 5 points and Leicester have Vardy suspended and they finish with 3 very difficult fixtures.

Our hardest fixture is Chelsea away and they will no doubt be up for that one but this isn't an outstanding Chelsea side. If we win at Stoke and Chelsea i honestly believe we will win the title.

A big IF still though.

Keep telling yourself the pressure is on us, we have the 8 point lead. You still have to go to Stoke and win, last time your boys had the chance to close the gap they choked.
