Welcome to a Barry Smith thread.

Good players do not a good team make.

In terms of teamwork and such, Spain is at a much higher level than England. If you watched England play as a national team over the years you'd see.

With Spain in particular, half their team plays for Barcelona and the other half for Madrid. They have chemistry built up already during the season so when it comes to International matches, it's not so hard to adjust to each other. When you look at England and other sides, their players are coming from a wealth of different clubs so team chemistry isn't so hot.

Quit being so elitist...if England were to be number 1, then they'd be number 1. Simple as that ;]
