"Aguero is fantastic but there is no way he is above Ronaldo, Messi and Suarez"
I don't think anyone has ever said he is above Ronaldo or Messi have they?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I should have just said Suarez
Not much between Suarez and Aguero, also quite similar in style.
Suarez is at his best when he's not the main man
Aguero is the main man
I find them very different
I think their both players of similar quality, the only thing that has ever really stopped Sergio hitting the very very top has been frequent injuries
I think they'd be brilliant playing together
Suarez is better than Aguero IMO. I guess it would help if Aguero was less injured, but just going by what Suarez was doing in his last season for Liverpool would lead me to believe he's a little bit above.
I'm not sure if an Aguero/Suarez partnership would be as good as it sounds on paper.
Aguero/Tevez would appear to be a perfect combination but the times they were together were not always productive.
Suarez is a lot better than Tevez though.
I see Suarez as more a Ronaldinho type and Aguero in the brazilian Ronaldo mould (ignore quality, just saying style and role)
Suarez really is an exceptional player. When they sold Sanchez for £35m and paid double for Suarez I was slightly dubious about the disparity in those fees - how wrong was I. As good as Sanchez has been for Arsenal, Suarez has contributed 78 goals and a scary 42 assists since he moved there!

I often wondered if they were switched that season though, Aguero would have had to have taken more on whereas with the quality around him in the spine of the team at City that year Suarez would probably have had a similar year to Aguero. Obviously we'll never know though...
City would have won the title a lot sooner were Suarez and Aguero switched around, is my feeling.
who would have played number 9 for city though?
Sturridge was for us, not Suarez

Aguero and Sturridge swapping positions?
Suarez being more flexible is another reason he's above Aguero I guess.
Dzeko?
Suarez would probably make him look world class.
Negredo... Suarez was head and shoulders above the rest of his team mates that season though, despite Gerrard, Sturridge, Sterling etc having good years. At City, Silva was incredible that year and Yaya had probably the best single season of any central midfielder in Premier League history. There is less emphasis for Sergio to do the things Suarez did - hence we barely see him trying to score from outside the box, which we all learned he is more than capable of after 11mins of his league debut or whatever it was.
-----------Yaya--Fernandinho
--Silva-------Suarez--------Nasri
---------------Negredo
v
--------------Gerrard
-----Hendo-------Coutinho
------------Sterling
--------Studge--Aguero
it would still be down to the last day IMO
Out of interest, does the Sun have a Southern football correspondent?
Anyone else think he's quite underrated in terms of how well he's rated outside his era? For me one of the bet strikers to grace PL..injuries have hampered his legacy so far but still up there with best strikers PL has seen imo.
Aguero is scoring goals this season every 95 minutes and Kane is around 125 minutes (ESPN 5 days ago).
I've never seen a player 'targeted' as much by opposing defenders.
I think Torres for us was our most targetted
they kicked lumps out of him every week
