Milner Firmino and Coutinho were shocking, didn't really get into the game, Moreno was a liability again, Sevilla were the better team overall and fully deserved it. Sturridge showed his quality but was isolated upfront, as everyone but Lallana was pretty dire behind him Can included probably.
Thinking about it only Lallana and Kolo were good enough Studge showed one bit of quality but got no service, i guess Clyne was alright.
The more I think about it the more depressing it is getting.
The fact the midfield could barely string 5 passes together was particularly frustrating
I think they had the desire, but they didn't have the ball. Not being flippant, Séville get them at arms length with great ball retention second half
I agree that Lallana was the best of a bad bunch in the three behind sturridge
The failed prem challenge 2 years back has mentally scarred these players. I ly changing most of them will help us overcome this

I think you're looking a little too hard for excuses....
I don't think they caused us to pass badly at all in their half. We just never found rhythm and nearly all our bad passes were unforced mistakes.
I think the attack just froze on the day.
That second half was watford, w ham and newcastle all over again. When u fail so.often changes have to.be made. Surely moreno is a goner.....fkn surely!
Sadly the second half was predictable from 50 mins. We don't seem to do 'ok'. We either perform or sit back. And protecting a lead isn't our strength.
Unfortunately the first half did for us in a weird way. We deserved to go in 2+ goals up. Didn't happen and Sevilla owned the second half. We actually looked scared.
Tough to take but that's football.
