Anyone else getting bored by the whole takeover saga? I've told all my mates that we are gonna be the second richest club in the country and both of 'em laughed.

even if the deal goes through in the next couple of weeks, and we end up with a bunch of really good players from Europe, I still think we will have a slow start to the season. expect to be struggling until December while all the new faces bed in, but with a surge up the league second half of the season. whether that will be enough to finish top 6 this year, with some very big sides in opposition, we'll see. hopefully the new owner will understand patience and prefer to build a squad and side and management team to get us there, rather than get carried away and sack the coach every few weeks (leeds...forest...)

The first match thread so the new season, may yet be in Portuguese.

I've given a guy from North Carolina a Wolves mug at work and convinced him to become a Wolves fan on the basis of this takeover. He's even willing to make the long trip to Molineux with me several times this season.

This takeover better happen or my relationship with my new work colleague could quickly deteriorate as he gets stuck with a lifetime of disappointment being a Wolves fan.
