And an all championship scottish cup final

I've said before I don't think Rangers cup results were all that spectacular when you look at where those teams finished in the league.

Hibs on the other hand did have some terrific results in both cups - they beat Aberdeen, United twice, St Johnstone, Hearts and ICT.

However, the league is the bread and butter and we've twice seen the teams from the Championship thrashed when it matters.

We need a bigger league plain and simple.

So your basically dismissing the results that don't suit you is what your saying

Ivan the play offs are absolutely no gauge of the difference between both leagues, the plays offs are heavily weighted in favour of the premiership club, the premiership club afte a long season have a nice break whilst the championship club plays at least 4 games in something like 10 days, they are most likely a stronger squad in any case.
I'd rather look at how the championship clubs did in both national cups

Well as the league is pash I am sure Dundee United will rocket through and have the league sewn up by Xmas.

I would expect so.

Then we can make outlandish claims about how we'll win the Premiership the following season.

They played United on the 14th in the final league game then played Falkirk on the 19th and 22nd.

It wasn't much of a break.

In fact, Killie played on the 7th, 11th, 14th, 19th and 22nd - that's 5 games in 15 days.

Falkirk played on the 1sth, 10th, 14th, 19th and 22nd.

So Killie had to play more games in that spell.

"the premiership club afte a long season have a nice break"

How'd that work out for uz on Saturday?

posted on 24/5/16

You could argue that giving those players a break had a negative impact on their performance in the first game.

Certainly we heard that Rangers having a prolonged break was damaging to them (although I accept the break for Rangers was longer).

Resting players ahead of a big fixture often backfires in football.

Ivan you are not very good at wums give up

Away and prepare for life in the championship

The break part is also true. Although Killie played on the 14th they rested 7 players based on having these two games that would define their season and the United game having nothing at stake.

Didn't you say the break affected Rangers for the cup game on Saturday?

I'm actually quite good at wums if I do say so myself.

And I'm already fully prepared given that I've bought my season ticket. Looking forward to the romantic journey. I might need some tips from perennial lower leaguers like yourself about parking, getting balls back from hedges etc
