They are having a trying time in the reserves, good experience to learn. Life is proving difficult for them I'm sure, the Lisbon game was surely - I hope - a wake up call. Which ones, if any , are ready for elevation to the first squad? Raheem excites, Cody has the makings - not there by a long chalk - of a young Crazy Horse. I think I've said this before, but I 'll repeat it. I spoke with a close mate, a Charlton season ticket holder, about Shelvey. Lazy, doesn't see himself as the water-carrier, too good for the Championship/First Div etc., . What I've seen, while falling far short of 'up for sale' he doesn't inspire, at all. His passing, ball control, vision, movement leave a bit to be desired. If ever there was a player ready for loan to a Championship side its him. I am disappointed to hear that Wilson is going out on loan. Lets wait and see where he's going to. If its a London club, then I'm going there. JimmyTheRed

Coates, I'm quoting from the Scotland game tonight when Wilson came on as a sub. Clearly the commentator on Sky had inside info on the point. Wait and see JTR
i hope they all get a chance as thex are part of our future and need the exposure. I just hope they get enough at the right time. I think they will, seeing what has happened with Robinson, shelvey and flanno in the last 6 months.
