My Missus also works on the bank, in Merseyside majority of foreign bank staff are Filipino, she's worked with one Spanish nurse but never with Portuguese or Italian. My Missus is an rgn mental health Nurse so she works in all different hospitals.
Depends where you are either way eu or non Eu without immigrants there is no nhs.

It fecking does. Agency nurses get paid a fortune that's why the NHS is in a mess. My Missus has worked with nurses who have travelled down from London. They get their travel and accommodation paid for, and some will earn nearly double what she earns.

Nah, the funniest part of it is Brexiters believe the Government would change immigration policy if we voted to leave.
The Conservatives, Labour, Lib Dems, Greens, SNP, and Plaid Cymru have absolutely no interest in doing that.

NHS is struggling, long wait for GP appointments, school places hard to come by, housing crisis etc. immigration isn't the only cause but it doesn't help and will only keep getting worse. Every time we make progress e.g. living wage it's another pull factor for EU citizens to come. And why the fack wouldn't they when the minimum wage is 9 times higher here than romania. Makes perfect sense and don't blame them one bit but it doesn't make sense for us. Being in a union where most of the countries are much poorer than us is only gonna decrease quality of life here. The EU needs us much more than we need them. Having no control over number of people who can enter the country is crazy. We're the 5th richest country in the world we would hardly crumble without the EU. Would happily be the 6th, 7th or 8th richest in return for proper democracy and accountability.

My point is that the Conservatives have done absolutely nothing to curb immigration from outside the EU. And they have no interest in curbing immigration from inside the Union either.
An 'out' vote will not see a policy change that will decrease net immigration.
The likely scenario is the EU will offer us a package that looks like Switzerland or Norway's - mutually-dependent treaties with guillotine clauses, offering us access to the single market and requiring us to sign up to freedom of movement of labour.
The Government will sign the deal. Very little will change.

and this is the point that the Brexit mugs cant get. They dont see the difference between EU and non EU immigration. They think it is all because of the EU.
They fail to understand that lots of Brits also want to emigrate out of the UK at the same time.
